lin kuei artifact?

i dont remember if i did this before i beat konquest but i cant enter the lin kuei temple w/out it.if anyone knows what's in there,please let me know so i can move on to sumthin elseconfused

the artifact is the komidogu whatever the guys name is(the spirit guy) tells you to go to the portal with it not to go take it to them.....thats why he will keep asking if you have found it or not
