He was an orphan of an American man and a Japanese woman when he was only a baby. It was the only thing known about him. And the mysterious nature of his past made him a perfect choice to be selected for ninja training. The young baby was adopted by a ninja from Scorpion's clan using an alias. The ninja raised the child, teaching him the fundamental ways of the ninja. Also giving the child the name Sasuke. He developed stealth and "teleportion" evasive manuevers that were based on distraction using smoke bombs and various fireworks.
Young Sasuke, however, was not for the life of a ninja. The child, now ten years old, had developed overwhelming compassion for life. A dangerous thing for an assasin to have. All Sasuke knew was that he had to leave, and leave in a hurry before he would ever be sent on an actual assasination mission. There was a problem however, runaway shinobis were dealt with in only one way...
Death.
Sasuke didn't care, his love and compation for all living things was more important then his own life. He fled from the ninja village to the city of Hachinohe where he lived off of the streets. It was curious however that no extermination squad was ever sent out after him... That was because his former clan had been completely wiped out.
When Sasuke did eventually find out a few years later he was completely devastated... He was alone. He had no friends and no enemies. He was stuck in a spiraling void within his own soul...
Until he found the Black Dragon.
Sasuke eagerly joined the group of thugs, whom offered him friendship and protection as well as a brotherhood that was much like his old ninja clan.... In reality, they only wanted his ninja skills which were perfect for stealing valuable artifacts without detection. Sasuke stayed with the clan until he was eighteen, stealing expensive jewels and diamonds from museums and making quite a name for himself among the thieve's guild. He felt happy and complacent with his position, until his first run in with the U.S. Special Forces.
He was providing support for a robbery of a jewelry store that had recieved an expensive diamond from the U.S., Kano being the one doing the actual stealing. The two didn't know that it was only a trap. The Special Forces had been waiting for the Black Dragon to fall for a trap like this for a long time and they wanted to catch as many of them as they possibly could. When they burst into the store while Kano and Sasuke were robbing the place, they trained their guns on the them and ordered their surrender. Sasuke instintively used a smoke bomb to mask his escape. He hid behind a nearby counter and watched in horror as Kano proceeded to slaughter the entire team of five Special Forces Ops. Seeing the carnage unfold, Sasuke couldn't believe it. His friend was responsible for the deaths of five lawmen just trying to do their jobs.
Sasuke soon afterwards severed all ties with the Black Dragon, once again he found himself alone... But this time being hunted not only by the Special Forces, but also by the Black Dragon and indirectly by the mysterious Red Dragon clan.
Sasuke HAD to disappear. The heat was becoming too intense. Sasuke didn't understand why there was so much of an uproar over a former pacifist ninja. He didn't want to hurt anyone, but everyone wanted to hurt him. To make matters worse, the Special Forces had put a large bounty on Sasuke's head which also sent scores of bounty hunters after him. His luck seemed to change for the better however a few years later when he found that the Special Forces had completely eliminated the Black Dragon clan... But they were still searching for Sasuke.
He had to come up with an alias to hide himself, but he couldn't think up an appropriate alias at all... Until he heard a legend of a Chinese assasin for the Lin Kuei clan named Smoke. Smoke had been belived to have been destroyed during Shao Kahn's invasion of Earthrealm. What was even better was that the original Smoke had used the same smoke bomb diversion tactics that Sasuke used AND he wasn't confirmed to be dead either. He officially took on Smoke's name.
...It didn't take long however for Sub Zero and the newely reformed Lin Kuei to take notice of the re-emergence of "Smoke". Sub Zero believed that his old friend was actually still alive and as such he began a search for him.
So now, Sasuke found himself once again being chased by mysterious members of an unfamiliar clan... And it also didn't take long for the Special Forces and the Red Dragon to finally catch onto his new alias.
Smoke now finds himself once again on the run, with no place to go until he is visted by a mysterious diety...Raiden.
The Thunder God asks the kind-hearted and incredibly skilled Smoke to join him and several others to combat a new threat rising from Outworld. With no alternative, Smoke agrees reluctantly. He will aid as much as possible without using violence... Though it may be hard to accomplish with the same three groups chasing after him being thrusted into one area in one way or another.
Special Moves:
Kage:
A "teleportation" move... Only in the generic sense. Sasuke throws down a smoke bomb to hide his lightning fast movements, appearing behind his foe as if he had teleported.
Shin Kage:
A more advanced version of the Kage technique, rather than just ending up on the opposite side of his foe he shoots forward and strikes the weak and unprotected neck. Designed to incapacitate.
Smoke:
Sasuke throws several smoke bombs at his opponent, they all explode on impact restricting their senses. Acts sort of like Sonya's kiss of death special in MK:DA.
Smoke Ougi:
Sasuke throws a smoke bomb towards the ground and dissapears from sight using a ninja technique that renders him nearly invisible. Similar to Reptile's insibility technique.
Fatality:
None, Sasuke doesn't believe in killing... Only in showing kindness and mercy, especially towards fallen foes. More often than not, he'll flee the scene.
