Anyways, this probably would never have happened, even in the ultimate storyline. Since that is Quan Chi's ending, it would pretty much mean that Shang Tsung and Kano are dead as well, and his undead army is marching around earthrealm. Obviously, that wouldn't happen. This whole Liu Kang in Kano business is just an ending and nothing more...I wouldn't give it a second thought.

Not to mention it happens if Quan Chi wins. Which ain't happenin. I believe Kung Lao is the winner of this tournament. He is stated as the winner even in Bo Rai'Cho's ending. Not to mention he is like the second runner up to Liu Kang and the decendant of the original chosen one, Kung Lao.

If that happens I will lose faith in MK. In fact, I will find John Vogel and personally smack him upside the head. Whoever thought up that ending should be tied to a tree and beaten with a wet cat. Or tied to a wet cat and beaten with a tree.
