Liu Kang the New Elder God

As we all know Liu Kang is dead and Shang Tsung has his soul. But he won't keep for long because there are a few endings were Shang Tsung is cut open and all his souls are set free. In Kung Lao's ending his face is in the shy in the background and Raiden has made it clear he will stay on earth as God of Thunder. Kang will asume status of Elder God and watch over earths warriors.

......the Quan Chi ending were Liu Kang's soul enters Kano most likey will not happen.

i wouldn't mind, but i like liu as the herioc, confident human he was. but when you say elder god all i could think about is liu with pure white or blazing blue eyes. cooooooool.

What do you mean the events in Quan Chi's ending won't happen. That like me saying Reptile's ending isn't true. That the dragon king didn't inherit Reptile's body.

we were told that the liu-kano storyline wont be carried on


anyway, i really hate this idea and i think its stupid, brining liu back in anyway, ruins the point of his death, its supposed to be a sad change, the death of a hero, showing that the good guys dont always win

I didn't mean bring him back as playable, I just ment don't write him out of the storyline. I think it would be the best way to immortalize him in the game. He's earned it.

I just don't think Quan Chi will be the one to kill Kano. It's more likey Mavado will kill him and that would remove him from Quan Chi's ending. Quan Chi's ending will play out only if Kano betrays Shang Tsung and cuts him open but if Shang Tsung dies it won't be at the hands of Kano.

Bringing back Lui Kang as playable or as a Elder God is not a good idea. I was kinda glad when they killed him off as it gave another fighter a chance to be the "hero". I would rather see Shang Tsung's ending come true then Quan Chi. Tsung has more possibilites not to mention that we have not yet seen his true form. Mavado will still kill Kano off then we'll see Jarek come looking for revenge on the Red Dragon.

Personally I would rather see Mavado's RED DRAGON take on Sub Zero's LIN KUEI. So it dosen't matter what ending is gonna be the right one of their at all but I would rather see Rayden still be the Lightning/Elder God and bring back Fujin w/a better role and better moves. Lui Kang is dead and it makes the story that much better. Not always to the bad guys win.

Here are some MK facts for yall that support my theorie......

In (MK4), only a few gods survived Shinnok's attack on the Heavens. Raiden and Fujin were two of them. In Kai's ending (MKG) Raiden is seen giving him his staff as gratitude for his help. Raiden still has his staff so that did not happen. For Fujin's help against Shinnok, he made him an Elder God. Raiden told Fujin to return only if earthrealm is threatend.(stay with me) In (MK6) earthrealm will be threatend again and Fujin will come down to protect it. Liu Kang will take his place in the Heavens.(my point) Raiden will make sure earthrealm has an Elder God to watch over it when Fujin returns and Liu Kang is the one.

How did he earn anything? It's just a video game. Everytime I play MK I beat the game with Scorpion first, not Liu Kang, so does that mean Scorpion earned it? If Liu Kang was so good then he wouldn't have got killed. Even Sonya has managed to stay alive and appear in every game...they killed Liu Kang because you can only reuse a plot so many times:

Liu Kang saves earth again.

Wow that just didn't do it for me...

every realm doesn't get a elder god, every realm gets a god

and earth has 2, fujin and raiden

the elder gods are not good people, they didn't let raiden save liu kang's life, i dont see why they would make liu a god, and i dont see why liu would want to be apart of their god soceity, plus its retarded for him to go from immortal(HUMAN) mk champ to elder god, skipping over regular god completely, plus what makes u think humans can become Gods? the bad guys always try to get god like powers, thats why shinnok(storyline wise) was so scary, he was a god

Liu Kang maybe dead for now but he is not out of the storyline. Scorpion die's in the acid after Quan Chi knocked him in and Scorpion die's again in his ending. If a ninja specter, hell bound can die more then once and remaine in the storyline, then why can't earthrealm's greatest warrior die and stay in the storyline as well???

scorpion is cursed, he was giving the chance to return to kill those that wronged him, its a hell thing, it doesn't work the other way, besides, who says shang tsung is even dead? he might still have liu's soul with him

I thought that all of the endings were what-if endings like in MK4 and that Midway won't necessarily go by any of them in MK6.

You are right, but Mortal Kombat tells a story of why this warrior is in the game and why some are not. I don't know how good you know the MK storyline (NO DISRESPECT)but I feel more then 70% of the endings in all the MK games have had some truth to them.
