Liu Kang's Spirit....Shang dead?

Well, the title speaks for itself. Liu Kang's spirit is back. Shang wouldn't let it go willingly, so does that mean Tsung is dead?

But you guys see the point though, right? How did Kang's spirit get free? It will be interesting to see. Man I can't wait for this game.

Do be honest...does it matter if Shang is dead? When has being dead ever prevented anyone from returning? Scorpion, Johnny and Liu Kang have all died and have or will make a return. Unless I'm mistaken, Shang has also died at least once only to be brought back. Of course, I doubt it would be Shao Kahn who brings him back this time.

lol Yes I'm a fan of Shangs! I wasn't until MKDA!
Anyway, I do hope he is alive. He is needed in MKD!

According to my source, Boon does not want to kill Shang as he regards him as the best bad guy ever! They were trying to find a way to keep him in the game.

You should check out my stickied thread and look for a link to a thread titled 'What if Shang becomes good'. That could be a possible way of keeping him in. Leave a reply if you want.

Unless they say differently, Shang is dead. No way the souls are ever gonna be released unless he's dead. Its my belief that this is why liu is returning.

Eh? How do you know? Wasn't he cut open at the end of Quan Chi's 'winning' story in MKDA?
Only way Liu Kang can be back is if Shang died and Kang's soul escaped. The alternative is if Shang let the spirit go, which is unlikely.
