Kabal is an exelent character. It says he was defeated, probably he is still alive. From what I have seen, he is very popular and MIGHT come back as a secret in mk6.

word. I personally think that Mavado has got some style to him and could be uber 1337 if developed, but quite a few others think other wise. So, kabal may come back. In which case, I'd buy the game just for his return...but im not betting on it. His return, that is.

didn't Mavado kill Kabal and gank his hookswords in a show of disrespect to Kano? i believe so. i personally hope there are no black dragons in mk6, only red dragons and new lin kuei, that'll be the new game rivalry. Mavado does have style, i just hope he has more special moves in mk6.

We don't know, actually. It was never said that he was "killed", i don't think. He's just, well, missing, sort of. unless i am mistaken, then please, enlighten me. Besides, didn't he survive kahns extermination squads? At least that's what his MK3 bio says. So, he's a surviver and being killed off by mavado is kinda cheap. Then again, what do I know...

i think you're right. And to the actual topic I don't think Kabal should return simply because the Black Dragon are done, their time has passed and now the Red Dragon will shine. They do need a new member though, I was actually thining of a chick one that everyone hates (like the German one from die hard, ya can't tell me that ya didn't wanna see her get blown to shit, but ya also thought she was cool at the same time.) As well as improve upon Mavado, his fighting styles fit him fine I think just enhance them to give him more combo opportunities. and about special moves did any one notice in Boon's stick men there was one of a grappling hook attacking to the opponent and spinning them around, dazing them for an attack, I would of loved to of seen that in the game.
