“Lover Fatality” will be a “FRIENDSHIP” “BABALITY”…that KILLS. The Mk humour is back!

It’s so awesome to hear about a new finisher, especially something as difficult and with many ramifications to discuss about, that could lead as to any possible guess!

I had always dreamed of doing a friendship or Babality, were at the end you had the pleasure of killing your victim with a “fake love-friendship” style, or after the sweet baby appears in the scene.

The thought of kicking the baby, or burning or squishing him/her after the Babality was enjoyable, and even more if it was a friendship, were an innocent flower could end up eating and brutally killing your opponent.

So my guess is, that after the mention of the POSSIBLE returns of Friendship and Babalities (or finishers styles such as this two), the LOVER FATALITY is a mix were you start the finisher all KIND, NICE, and in a very disgusting SWEET way, but at the end, the foolish victim who thinks you are his/her NEW BEST FRIEND, dies in a most painful way.

It’s a pleasurable finisher for sadistic people such as myself, you could almost call it lovely.

They already gave us “HARI-KARI” were we will have the pleasure of killing our self’s without feeling the pain, thing I had dreamed about for a long time.

The LOVE will TRICK you .the LOVE will KILL YOU. That’s what this is about.

Or, ya know, it was just a joke by OXM pointing out that some things sound ridiculous. People are thinking way too deep.

Aside from that, what you wrote sounds kind of neat.

I just know I'm not going to get my hopes up. Boon hinted at the Friendships and Babalities but I think the Xbox magazine jumped to conclusions on the Lover Fatality part too quickly.

If not, then all power to it. It would be very kool to see a Friendship turn into a killing at the last minute.

Nice idea imo.

That's just sick! EVEN IN A GAME!!!!!!!!!!

Anyways, the whole Lover Fatality sounds extremely stupid and I really hope it was just a joke. And about the Hara-Kiri... I think it's pathetic!!!!! And it's way more humilliating than a Fatality. What kind of coward just kills his/her character??? If you win the fight you win the right to finish your opponent. Period.

Allright, don't forget that this is JUST MY OPINION.

Sonya_B, I see you have not seen most of my posts, well, Im crazy, but I already like you, I also see you are a big Sonya fan such as myself!

Anyway, I actually like the Lover idea and Hari Kari, I hope they dont mess with us again. This must be included in the game.

More finishers keeps the repetitive fatalities from getting boring. Look at Mk1, Mk4, and MKDA, while they were awesome, you get bored after doing all fatalities everytime.

Well, I've read a few of your posts (the bunny-girlish-anime character, remember that one??) and indeed, you are crazy!!!!!!!!!

I just think that killing babies is just too raw and violent even for MK! Though I cannot look at Baraka's fatality... I have to turn away ever time. It's too much for me!!! And I've been playing MK since I was 8!!! *shrugs* Maybe I'm just getting old, lol smile

Really??? What Baraka fatality is too much for you, if I may know? And yes, as you can see I am crazy, too much for even crazy people actually.

So, you can expect more brutal opinions on the matter of decapitating babies from me, but I'll try not to if I see you around! wink

Why did I suddenly get the image of Scorpion doing the "Time to kick the baby!" from South Park to a 'baby' Baraka when queve mentioned brutal babalities?

Anyways, I kinda missed the Friendships (Can anyone guess which one was my favorite? grin) and would love to see some of the characters have them n MK:D.

I also hoped for a return of the Animalities..they could be really brutal and bloody in 3D if done right.

As for the Babalities, it doesn't matter to me whether or not they make a return. Never really liked them, but if they do return I just won't use them. Never hurts to have the option though.

I knew there would be posts about the new "Lover Fatalities". I'm glad to see atleast one other person saw it was a joke.

Your lucky some of us know what you mean about squishing those babies, Queve! lol

I guess this idea would be great! It'd be a vast improvement on the Friendships anyway! And I prefer to be able to be nice and then just kill them afterwards! That's how the Friendships should've been in the first place!

As some have said already, it's most likely just a joke.

I really hope this was no joke. The idea is pretty cool in my opinion, a new finisher to give us more fun then just fatalities.

Besides, this humour might actually be awesome, and I’m guessing it would work in mk very very well.

Hmmm... I don't think the humour ever left MK. Ofcourse, there was more humour when we still had the friendships. BTW: I don't like the idea of killing a baby! That's really too much. But I really hope there will be some kind of new finisher (next to hara-kiri). The more the better, as long as all of them are original... hey that's another reason I don't like babalities! They're all the same!

Well, that’s true, humour never left mk completely, but a big part of it did with the annihilation of friendships and babalities (thanks God, babalities I never really liked).

I agree that new finishers should be added to the game, but when I think of the style this “Lover Fatality” could be done, I really wish it was no joke.

To kill with love, love to kill. I just love it.

i think friendship/love/bablity are fuckin stupid as hell. mk has been bloodly/murder's/ambushes 'n' etc.... and u wanna see bablity ? jesus that kills the whole mood.

that is stupid, dragon king returns and they want love fatality? OMFG. i dnt think dragon king/all the other evil's characters will be up for friendship/love fatality.

Like I said, I hate babalities too, not really hate, just a big dislike.

Friendships and Animalities were cool.

Brutalities got very boring at the end. just like babalities.

The guy is Ben/Kobra. Nothing is really known about him.
