It's rated T. This was announced by Boon himself a LONG time ago. DC doesn't want their character's limbs being torn off and dying all over the place. I wouldn't call it "childish" because there will be some extent of blood and violence and the game will be as close to an M rating as possible. According to Boon the character's will have some sort of Finishers, just not Fatalities.
