I think if I remember correctly Outworld has an orange sun. Superman's powers are signifigantly weakened under an orange sun, which would bring him down to MK levels.

If I'm not mistaken, Outworld and the DC Realm merge with some cataclismic event, so the whole game takes place in a mix of Outworld and DC locations.

Oh crap sorry. A story I would like for Sonya is to see her have some kind of rivlary with the Joker or Catwoman. Maybe Catwoman does something to piss her off - kill Jax or something? Hard to make stories up on what we currently know! Is the events of the MK and DC universe merging taking place after MK:Armageddon or is that just disregarded?

The forces of evil of the DC and MK worlds have joined forces to take over and eventually plumme the realm of Earth into a state of hellish chaos, pain and brutality. Superman saves the day! The end!
