Hopefully the midway guys read this but i doubt it. I play alot of sports games, and racing games...How come you can have 300+ football players or basketball or even 500 cars for that matter perfectly rendered in 3d? or you can have 3 fighting styles for 24 different characters, and then fight almost every character in the mortal kombat history in a konquest mode? but you cannot unlock and play them? that doesn't make any sense....every year madden and ncaa football is cranked out the same turn around time and every year was a thrilling as the last,,,,,or espn games cost $20 bucks, but twice in 2 years i buy a mortal kombat game that is as dissappointing as finding out your girlfriend just cheated on you? WTF?? I mean look at virtua fighter evolution? 2 more characters than the original blah blah, but how about 30 some perfectly rendered fighting styles? very believable 3d environments? and it came out for $20 bucks? i mean if you guys are going to cheap us on the characters we really want, then cheap us on the price too. I mean hell i restore cars for people if i used cheap parts just to make a profit then my customers are going to be pissed off at me and never come back, but i guess that doesn't matter a whole lot as long as your pockets are filled and we play stupid and keep buying your games. How about next time around you put a deep character create program in there like some wrestling games, let us pick the moves, styles and fatalities, hell i want to customize the whole dame thing, because your games the last two times around have lost replay value very quickly. Many may disagree but seeing the same shit over and over is getting real old real fast. Look at need for speed underground.........i played online for 6 months and never seen the same car twice, because of customization. How about making the blood look more realistic, how about broken limbs, or broken jaws, and how about less female characters I have played online about 100 times in between that damn useless konquest mode and i have yet to play against a female character, matter of fact out of 100 games i saw 4 different opponents, i think i may be the first person to use kabal's fatality online. Imagine you can make your own fighter with whatever clothing hairstyle and accessories you want. How about a character that uses a machine gun instead of spells, jax would look pretty righteous if he whipped out an m-60 or an anti tank missile to blow someone up for a fatality............and one last thing I was sitting around during the boring fight night chat and thought of something different,,,,,,,,what if fujin had a tornado rip out of his hands for a fatality where it knocks the environment objects into the victim for a fatality,,,,,,or rips them apart in the vortex,,,,,,,,could probably look good,,,,,i like how the statue of budda falls off the top of the building for a stage fatality,,,,that was pretty cool to see the first time around. Im not bitching too much but when i unlock more pictures of you guys and useless stuff that doesnt apply in game,,,im feeling pretty cheated on the last two mortal kombats. I guess the next one i will have to rent before i just go and buy it and assume it will be good just because the box says Mortal Kombat. I actually had more fun with MK3. Tons of characters and lots of fresh ideas were apparent back then.....
