Well, I'm one of the few people who didn't see the konquest videos, so I really can't say.

I have an issue with the dragon points system myself, namely gameplay ideas.

The After Playing VF4 etc thread is going smoothly now, no-one is flaming anything and we are voicing some brilliant gameplay ideas that could easily be used in Deception.

But then I see people like Tgrant, who starts a new thread everytime he thinks up of 2-4 basic gameplay ideas that (unknown to him in all honesty) have already been discussed in full in the After Playing etc. thread.

And then all his mates tomtaz and co will come along, voice there opinion in about 2 lines, say what a great thread it is, and they all get dragon points. I think this is unfair and as recently suggested, we should have a forum especially for suggesting new ideas that can be used in MK, while the Deception forum can stay as a forum for character speculation and games like boot+immune.

The better ideas like the ones in the After playing etc. thread get the reconition they deserve and new threads can be made with no complaints from others, so everyone is happy.

Just a quick note, I've nothing against Tgrant or anyone else for that matter, I think the guys a genius, and that's the only reason I hate him

I just needed something better as an example than having a go at all the people with less than 200 visits who make new threads about ancient news. Although posting this in a thread about the most popular character at the moment probably isn't a good idea

yeah, SvE, i said it was most likely reptile in my other topic also, i was just considering a possibility, he really is almost impossible to see in that video, cause of him being invisible and running behind the tree so quickly, and the koin behind there being green is also another clue that it was reptile

FLSTYLE, the thing is, no matter how ridiculous a post sounds, as long as its long and written with appropriate grammar, you usually get dragon points unless someone will point out something like "Something isn't right here.." and then elaborate. I see a lot of stuff is based on popularity as well. If people like it, they get dragon points.

IT WAS ON A KONQUEST VIDEO DOWNLOAD that was on the news front a lnog tiem ago...how the hell am i supposed to take a screenshot of that?! -_- ugh, im not trying to be rude, but that was annoying being asked if i took a screensshot of it... it was on the media player, its blurry enough on its own in the video, if i took a screenshot it'd be impossible to see from the added blurriness, if you wanna see it go search for the update that had the link to the konquest video download [which is nearly ancient now]

Hmm. Ya know, that DOES resemble Smoke from what I can tell. I see black boots of some kind and an invisible upper-half.

im still kinda stuck on who it is, it resembles smoke in some way, but it could also be reptile, if you remember early in the video a red ninja [ermac most likely] runs by and takes that red koin, so i was thinking since that koin behind the tree where that mysterious figure vanishes is green, its probably reptile becoming invisible, or it might be chameleon, i have been tryin to figure this out for quite sine time, but im leaning torwards it being either reptile, or chameleon, but its also possible it is smoke, and an unlikely, but STILL possible chance that it is ghost liu kang, because if the koin is a clue on who it is, remember liu kang's animality from past games he turned into a GREEN dragon, man, this is kinda perplexing *scratches head* im just so interested in solving who that mysterious figure is...
edit- the reason i think it could be ghost liu kang is mainly because when i slowed down the video, i SWEAR i saw red/black pants like liu kang used to wear [atleast i think he did, i havent seen him in so long, i forget his pants color] of course, i was a little tired from constatly viewing it, maybe i was seeing things

It looks like the moderator only gives people he knows dragon points.I can't see how Tgrant and TomTaz are getting dragonpoints for sharing the same idea that Wanderer and Queve already discussed and didn't receive points for it.I don't care about those points anyways,once they don't give me skulls because you don't have a chat with Ed when your rank goes up.

yeah, siduu101, also i've seen some pretty stupid things... in some topics where the topic creator gets dragon points, i also see ALOT [almost all] the posters get dragon points too, even if they dont say any more than 5 words [that dotn mean nothign except maybe complimenting] and i post in it, i get nothing... you know, im beginning to think theres a corruption in the staff here... givign dragon points to people for NO REASON, or to people who didnt earn them, and not giving them to people who DID earn them.... anyway, back to the topic, has anyone else seen that figure in the video? im still very confused as to who it is

I agree with the points corruption. I can't be bothered trying anymore for them anyway, if they just want to give points to the "nice" and "popular" people who only post 2 lines let them.

no, i doubt it was a glitch, it was way too worked out to be a glitch, they DID say that characters would be making appearances in konquest mode, so maybe they meant that some characters may just run by, i know of 3 characters that just ran across the screen now, ermac snatching that red koin, that mysterious figure i found in that video, and scorpion was seen coming out of hiding between a couple buildings and ran down the road, it was in the konquest beginninig video [another old one, a videotaped one by the staff of MKO i think, im pretty sure i heard M4C talking too in that video... also, in the konquest ending video, i THINK i saw M4C's head get in the camera's way >_> anwyay... uhh, forgot where i was goin with this >_< ack!

so you are the guy huh zero. i was looking for you i forgot your screen name. I always talk about the guy that found that picture. It was a great find and you have 25/1000000 vision for spotting that. you poited where is was to be found and it took me 23 times exactly to see the predator looking guy behind the tree. It looks like the predator or a stealth package from metal gear solid(for people that never seen the picture)
it could be chamleon with his new look(no longer a damn ninja swap) he looks like and acts like a chamleon cause he is blending in with the backgrounds. dont know i always tryed to figure out who is was but i dont think even when i get the game i would find him. whenever i see ermac i will zoom to the tree as fast as possible when i get the game. i dont think i would ever find the guy though and this wont be solved until one of you finds him in the game many many months from now hellmaybe next august after this one you would have found him LOL. too me i think if you grab that coin earlier ermac would not zoom by he would stop and look around as if he were looking for the lost coin and you can talk to him.

same with the other "thing" if you get the coin that would stop them from disappearing and htey would stand where the coin was. what if you miss him could you wait the next day (in game time) to find the "thing" again. dammit this is one worth writting a letter to ED BOON. he wont spoil it for us that damn loser, but we can at least ask him if it was somone we known or if it was a new character we have never seen. If he at least says it was a new fighter then we can stop thinking. i would ask him if the fighter was in MK1. If not that would get rid of reptile and kang but i doubt it is kang.

I'm guessing it's Smoke, with a little nod at old-school MK. Remember in MK II where he and Jade would peek out from behind trees in the Living Forest?
