MK4 home versions have a code (i forget what it is, its been ages) where if done correctly, the character you choose will have the appearance of a bloody skelleton. This is visual only, the 'Meat' character has the moves, fatalities, endings and name of whichever character you choose. I don't know where the name 'Meat' comes from, but wherever it's listed on a codes page it always says 'play as Meat'. A page I saw once had a storyline for Meat, it was something about this dastardly villain who was stripped of his flesh and banished to the netherealm where he was freed by Quan Chi... but I'm pretty sure that's just BS made up by the page owner

I got the cheat to play as him....You have to enter group mode and beat it with all of the people.

you have to choose group and win with everyoen in group with out losing then u fight as a bloody skeleton

Yeah, that's it. He's not really much of a secret character... I got him once or twice, but you can't "save" Meat once you've unlocked him, so it's not really worth it. He looks impressive, but it's like Pong from MK2... fun to do once, but after that it's not worth it.
