Memo To Kitana Fans!

Look at it this way, team... Kitana *may* not be playable in MK6, but she's probably not completely absent from the game.

Even though she *may* not be fighting the Dragon King, what will give you greater incentive to play than A) an opening featuring her being captured by the Dragon King, and B) playing a character to the end of the game to rescue her? What's better... playing the girl, or rescuing the girl? ;)

As long as they don't completely shaft the character (she gets killed/turns evil/marries the Dragon King & betrays her people/becomes anything BUT Kitana/sacrifices herself in some way/etc), rescuing her and bringing her home safely sets up a return in fully playable form in MK7 (although the odds of seeing both she, Mileena, and Sindel all return are slim - I swear we'll NEVER get that trio in playabe form back in one game again).

So I can live with rescue the damsel in distress. How about you? ;)

I like your optimism alot! It would be fun to play as her again, it's better to still have her involved some way or another.
I hope Kitana and Mileena end up in a future MK together, but we shall have to wait and see.

I have said it once and I'll say it again; if Kitana gets killed off, I will be mad as hell! I have been a fan of her since MK2, because the idea of using fans as a weapon looked cool back then, and it's still bad-ass now! If they DO kill her off, then RETIRE THOSE FANS! I do NOT want to see another character using them! Those fans are basically what defines Kitana's standing in the MK series!

im still praying that they make kitana a secret character in mkd..basically when u beat the game w/ every character that has something to do w/ her story( liu kang,sindel,mileena,tanya..etc..) she gets freed from the chains and becomes playable.....=-) heres hoping....

I don't think I'll care much for MK anymore if they kill Kitana off; she's the main character I always use and will be VERY disappointed!

Kitana and Sonya will be missed a whole lot if they arent in the game. Personally if kitana doesnt make it in the game, the feel of the game probably wont be the same, because when i play it im probably going to be like "kitana should have been in this game". And shes my fav. character im probably going to have to play as others because of her absence.
