Midway never confirmed the version code thing. Why is everyone so worked up?

Seriously, Midway never confirmed it, and no
offense, but this all started from an annonymous source.
I remember some dude (no offense to him, whoever he is) telling that some Midway employee walked into his shop or something, and that the guy told him that the last secret was a version code.

Did he give the moveslist to access it? No!

Come on you guys.......even I can just post a message, say I bumped into some MKDA designer, say (to make it exciting) Ed Boon, and I got him a little drunk, and he tells me something about the game that no one knows!
I post the message, and everyone will get excited.
Give us the proof. If it is the version code, what are the moves?

They need to confirm and put everyone at ease. I don't really see why everyone bothers to search for it! The amount of time they're wasting doing it is virtually lost, whether or not Midway tell us that there is or isn't a version code. I think it should be left to reveal itself, when it or Midway sees fit!
