For those without an Xbox or Xbox Live, Microsoft will be releasing an upgrade for Xbox Live that allows developers to include user created tournaments, clan management, and several other features.

It's all but confirmed that at least the tournament feature will make it into Dead or Alive Ultimate, so I'm wondering if Midway will include it in MK: D. If it was Xbox only I would say it's a given, but since it's also on PS2, it makes me wonder.

I also wonder if PS2 owners will be able to play Xbox owners and vice-versa. If not, I would have to pick up the PS2 version even though Xbox has a better online service IMO.

I have no idea, but I hope so. I would like to add that I hope that MK6 has some sort of talk option. Via keyboard or headset would be nice. :.l

all xbox live games support the headset feature, its one of the reasons why xbox live is the define gaming service of choice.

the ps2 on the other hand, dont know. only a few ps2 games support the head set, and has to be bought seperatly from the $40 modem.

but, on the bright side you can always buy a phone card and call long distance to the ppl you are fighting, right?
