MK:DA Endings...Reptile is the DK...

I apologize in advance for starting another Reptile is the DK thread but their hasn't been a recent one where i can post my new found thoughts as to why I believe Reptile is the DK. Alright i was playing MK:DA just a few mins ago and i beat the game with both Reptile and Radien in this time. I hadn't seen their endings in a while because my old Xbox crashed and i had to get a new one (i'm still working on re-beating MK:DA and most of my other games) and in Raidens ending it shows a picture of the DK along with the two Oni and Nitara the DK in Raidens ending looked almost excatly like Reptile but much bigger and more powerful looking. This is the only pic of the DK we have seen with the exception of the pic when he has his helmet/armor on, which i think is the cover art for the MK:D box. Also in Reptiles ending (i know reptiles ending has been discussed a number of times but this is something i never heard anyone touch on) it says the egg cracks and the beam of energy lances in to Reptiles Twisting and Transforming him. At the end it said that the prophecy had been fullfilled the Dragon King had returned. The way i see this is Reptile returned to the DK's lair (i'm calling it his lair because thats where the egg was kept i'm not sure wether its offically his lair or not so please don't flame) gets trasnformed and boom prophecy fullfilled. In conclusion because of what i've just relived and what we know about MK:D thus far i believe that Reptile is the infamous Dragon King.

Reptile ISN'T The Dragon King...

1) In the Raiden's ending, the DK looks MORE like Shao Khan than other know fighter...

2) The prophecy is fullfilled, because the little dragon borns, and with his blood, the sorcerors can revived the DK, as it said the prophecy.

3) The Prophecy: The Dragon King was an ancient ruler of Outworld before Shao Kahn's rise to power. He had formed the greatest army that realm had ever known. An army so powerful that it had never lost a battle. In an attempt to gain immortality and rule Outworld forever, The Dragon King commanded his holy men to hatch the last known Great Dragon egg. Legends told that drinking the blood of a newborn dragon would bring eternal life only if the dragon was slain moments after hatching. Unfortunately, the Dragon King died prematurely. His holy men loyally continued to incubate the egg with the intent of eventually reviving the dead king with the dragon blood. His army allowed themselves to be ritualistically slain and were buried in the pyramid along with their sovereign to be resurrected as well some time in the future. Generations of the Dragon King's holy men had been incubating the egg in secret ever since. As the prophecy had been told through the ages ... "Upon the birth of the last Great Dragon will the Dragon King return."

I'm wondering that with all this DK stuff brewing and the return of Liu Kang (with the Animalities being introduced in MK3 and in MK Annihilation) since he's got the Dragon Animality that was "Born within him" maybe he's a key to the DK and he's been resurrected to do so since he's what some people (not me) think "Great"
Great + Dragon = Sacrifice
Liu Kang + Animality = Dragon King's Bait
hmmm???

WTF have you seen Raidens ending since when does Shoa Kahn look like a Dragon? i agree he looks like Shoa Kahn in the Box Art pic with his helmet but in Raidens ending that is so a Reptile look alike go play the game before you talk to me if anyone has a pic of the DK from raidens ending please post it i mabye wrong about Reptile being the DK but in Raidens ending he is not Shoa Kahn looks nothing like him its a buffed out Reptile wether they decided to keep that thought has yet to be seen but in Raidens ending is NOT Shoa Kahn trust me
I agree i do not think Shao Khan is the dragon king if he was id be very suprised.

Of course that he's not Shao Kahn, but his look resembles him more than other know character.

Shinomune go to the store pick up a copy of MK:DA go home put it in whatever system you own and play it beat it with Raiden and Reptile then come talk to me and tell me the DK in Raidens ending still looks like Shoa Kahn because it looks nothing like him unless you have some picture of Shoa Kahn that none of us have ever seen before its either that or you have your characters mixed up Shoa Kahn is the emporer with a skull helmet boss of MK2 and all the versions of MK3 Reptile used to be a ninja (the green one) and since MK4 has looked like a Reptilian creature (he looks almost like a dragon in MK:DA who woulda thought?) or the 3rd senario your thinking of the Box Art of the DK which is not the same as in raidens ending never has Shoa Kahn looked like a Dragon and i don't remeber Shoa Kahn getting hit by a beam of energy and being transformed

1) The only difference between the Dragon King (Raiden's Ending) and Shao Kahn, that is the helmet, because the DK had a Dragon Helmet, and Shao Kahn a Skull Helmet, but without this difference, the look is equal.

2) No Boon, Vogel or Beran said that Reptile becames the Dragon King because the beam of energy.

Their is no helmet in Raidens ending thats dragon head is HIS HEAD hes a dragon thus the dragon king and reptile is him. also go back to the news acrhives and read fright night 2002 transcript then come tell me no ever said reptile is the DK

just to help ya out Shinomune, Everyone he never said "Shao Kahn is or COULD BE THE DK" he just said he LOOKS like him; he mentioned right after in the Prophecy that "The Dragon King was an ancient ruler of Outworld "BEFORE" Shao Kahn's rise to power." I doubt someone would contradict themselves that quick. Who knows and really cares who the DK is; we will just find out when it's time until then let people think what they want to and quit critisizing them for their input.

I'm just stating the facts he said no one ever said reptile was the DK Fright Night 2002 the MK said that Reptiles ending happens and that Reptile would play a big role in the next game and he said that in Raidens ending the DK had a Dragon Helmet now thats just BS and for the record i was the one who was talking about the prophecy of the DK not him alls he said was the DK looks more like Shoa Kahn then any other known character which is only true in the box art concept of him this is a thread about Raiden and Reptiles endings in MK:DA and what they mean for MK:D so before you go defending someone get your facts straight

Ok he looks NOTHING like a dragon. He looks like a giant lizard on steroids. Second off, the DK does look more like Shao Kahn than he does Reptile. When I saw the DK in Raiden's ending, I by no means thought of Reptile.

And if you ahve noticed RECENT pictures of the Dragon King, he looks different.

Remember shao kahn destroyed reptile's race long time ago,but the leader of reptile's race was the dk so he and reptile are related.Let's pretend what I said is through,since the dk is one of reptile's family it has been said if he get back too his family he will be in his normal form,and that could be the only other way that reptile's fans could be satisfy that reptile has find one of his blood, getting back his original form
and join forces with the dk since he is one reptile's family.Now the dk ask reptile to deceive kahn,tell him the deadly alliance has sucessful in reviving the mummified remain of the him army and they are heading to destroy him,kahn then ask reptile too find Noob Saibot for backup.Noob then stole the amulet from Shang Tsung gave it too reptile since Kahn was weaken,it should of reptile been pleasure taking his revenge from Kahn but he didn't he took the amulet straight to the dragon king,and the dk was now in total control of Edenian realm,bringing chaos upon it causing Tanya and most of the earth warriors to go into another tournament called mortal kombat.

1.The only reason you guys say the DK looks like Shao Kahn is because he wears armor. If I were to be wearing armur would you say Im Shao Kahn? I liu Kang wore armor would he be Liu Kang? Come on, other than that there is no reason to say the DK is Shao Kahn.

2. For the 100000000000000000 time Reptile is the DK end of story
