Another reason is thats kind of what arcades are for. To interact random people and play the same game. And doesn't every GOOD AND POPULAR arcade always have alot of people good at certain fighting games? 'Nuff said.
Just because you don't think it's worth doesn't mean others don't.

XBL:Insanity1234 Bring It...

Of course MK: Deception online is worth it. You pay $52 for a game and then $52 for 12 months for Xbox live.Sure it is a bit pricey thing when you combine the two prices. But consider your not only just getting online for one game , but all online enabled games for the system. When it comes to MK: Deceptio online , it provides unlimited re play value, instead of just mastering a game and just playing against your friends. Online you will be able to fight endless amounts of people. I don't own a Xbox myself, but it seems worth play MK: Deception online. I grew up in the 90s myself and played MK1- MK4 in a local arcade scene. Sadly of course those days are long gone. Yeah there was people cool and interacted with. The great part about MK: Deception that you can still interact with people via headset on both PS2 and Xbox. You can at least talk to people and of course maybe MK: Deception online setup will allow you a place to interact even more. I haven't play a console game online yet , but I hear Xbox live online setup allows for great communation. I hear the PS2 version will have a lobbyish thing to it( I don't know what Boon said about lobby setting for PS2 owners). One last thing, MK: Deception might have a spectator mode so people could be able to watch. I can't wait to play this game online, endless stuff is going to go on, and that to me will be worth it.

I've heard countless people say that... what would you rather put into it's place?

They were crying when their sons left. God is wearing black. He has come so far to find no hope, he's never coming back. They were crying when their sons left, all young men must go, he has come so far to find the truth he is never going home...

| Ajirikowic Wrote: To me it isn't worth it. Because I am not gonna pay so much money a month to play someone, when I could play against a friend that lives near me. I mean Cable is like 50 bucks a month, I wouldn't want to pay that, over and over. I'd rather just get the game and play it by myself, but if other people want to play it online it's their choice. |
PS2's MK: Deception online will be free. Xbox's MK: Deception of course like all its Xbox's online enabled games only needs Xbox live. Xbox live is $52 for 12 months of Xbox live. Not much at all in the long run.
If you already have an online account then its just another game to play, if not and you don't have broadband etc.. then maybe not esp. if its the only game you'll play online (even moreso for Xbox)
But for me, as soon as i can get broadband i'll be signing up for XBLive
<---- This is scary.
E-mail Boon & co and tell him to include a spectator mode!

The spectator mode idea is awesome! That should definitely be added to the game!

Death is an adventure... Wanna die?

| MetalSlug6590 Wrote: A new feature in MK6 is that it will be online. Would you buy, lets take Xbox live for an example. Would you buy Xbox live for 1 month which is i think about $70. I doubt that is worth it. I wouldn't buy a new feature for a game if that certain feature has an expiration date and costs more than the game itself. Would go online only for MK6? Why or why not?
