MK vs DC Universe 2 - Your Conjectured Roster

Yeah, this is years in advance, but since we're getting hyped up about MK vs DC Universe and that roster has been confirmed (with the exception of possible DLCs), I thought we could speculate a bit on MK vs DC Universe 2.

You may answer one or both of the following:

+ Who would you pick for the roster (using the same format, 10 or 11 for each side)?

+ Who do you think will actually make the roster?

I haven't seen this topic posted before and debated whether to put this in the MK vs DC forum or the Future MK Games forum. I shall leave that decision to the mods.

+ Fujin
+ Reptile

+ Kung Lao


I'm not even gonna take a swing at who will actually make it. But I'm betting they'll probably recycle half the cast from MK vs. DC 1. I'm not knowledgeable about DC so I didn't include them in this post, but by all means feel free!

JadedReign, I always love reading your posts smile, and I think this is a great thread.

The possibility of a sequel for this game, imo, is inmense. If it does as well as we know (or hope) it will, then we know we can expect more of it for the future.

Iconic Characters that are most likley to return:

Scorpion
Sub-Zero
Sonya
Rayden
Shao Kahn

Other Iconic Characters that could make the cut for the next game:

Johnny Cage (though he might+must make it for DLC)
Mileena (though he might+must make it for DLC)

MAYBE, if they consider characters outside MK1-Mk3, they might add some new ones from MKDA-MKD (Kenshi, Nitara, etc.)

Okay before I start sayin stuff, the only shit that I understood in you're message was MK vs DC 2 and your roster. If they do that, it's stupid cuz they have no reason to fight again because at the end of the game it's obvious that they are going to team up and kill Dark Khan. If they were to do something like that, it would probably be Street Fighter (I don't know why) or Marvel universe. To get back on track, I think if they make another crossover game the roster for Mortal Kombat should go up to at least 15 on each side.

Actually, it's not stupid because we are not 100% sure what will really happen in the end.

There could be a very twisted ending, maybe they wont even trust each other and be "friends" in this game either like most people assume. Maybe more villians will join the cast for the next game and put the heroes and the world in danger.

Who knows? I don’t think it’s fair to call the idea stupid because we have no guaranteed answer of how this thing might end, even if we think there is an obvious ending on the way.

If you're not going to participate then please don't. Also look up the facts, midway has stated over and over that their next game will be a true MK game. Also, its pretty obvious why Shaun Himmerick (who was in charge of doing MKSM )is helping with MKVSDCU, he will be doing future MKVSDC games while midway work on the main MK games. But please don't return unless you actually contribute something to the thread than a pointless insult.

They have already mentioned a sequel being possible and with how popular this game is looking to be, then it would obviously make sense especially financially.

Assuming the original cast all came back (would be silly IMO to lose unless some unless they suck or aren't hugely popular - Lex, Deathstroke, Kano and Jax would be my guess)
