MK6: A new generation?
Although I (like many of the fans) have grown attached to some of the older characters such as Sub, Scorp, Jax and so on.....I wouldn't mind to see some new faces taking center stage in new plots of their own.
Examples:
Fujin could take up Raiden's role (like he was suppose to)while Rain returns to fill the role of "the guy with the power of thunder".
Frost could take subs place.
Kung Loa is already taking up where Kang left off (supposidly).
I would like to see more mutants, not necessarily from Baraka's race but a diversity to show how the MK storyline is about many different realms with different races that all have different agendas.
Of course, older characters like Raiden, Sub and even Kahn can still be in the game as secret bonus characters that don't really influence the storyline....Just for old times sake.
What i really didn't like about MK:DA storyline was that half the cast was either in or had somn to do with the Special Forces...it was like an excuse to bring back older characters and introduce new ones.
What i'm getting at is by taking out some of the older characters it will open the storyline and allow for more diversity in characters and plots.
We have a new boss(The Dragon King) why not a a set of new heros and villans...even if the don't take center stage in MK6 at least start in that direction so by MK7 we can have a truly new generation of Kombatants...

I think it would be cool to have new characters but not remove old characters and replace them with new ones because that would be like a nother game, for me, atleast, it wouldn't be Mortal Kombat anymore. But yeah, new faces are cool but you just can't get out some of the characters that make the game in some way famous.
Peace.

I'd rather just keep the series goin as is.

They could deal without Kano and maybe Shang Tsung. Kano is good, but he needs a new Fatality. And they did a couple games without him and Shang Tsung so..But don't get me wrong, they are good characters.
