How do you want unlockables to be unlocked in MK6, and what do you want the extras to be? Mention of quantity is nice, too.
I want the Krypt system to be expanded more. Of course, I want more than 676 unlockables, but I also want very "Special" Koffins. By "Special", I mean that it has no price tag. When one selects the Koffin, it asks of a number the game is thinking of. Three clues are given, but for a price, which increases with each clue, as the clues will make the answer more apparent. A riddle could also be acceptable, but it would be nice if riddles are only for super secret characters. Anyway, once the answer is found, the koffin will open up, and the camera will zoom in the koffin. The koffin will then close behind the camera, giving the impression that the player is in the koffin. The screen will fade, and reappear again. The koffin opens up, and the player will be in a whole new krypt. This krypt should have really worthwhile things like Extra Weapons or classic MK Mode (MK1, 2, 3, etc.). It would be nice if a Tekken Force+MK Mythologies-style minigame were unlockable here. Galleries and other things in that category should be unlocked in the regular Krypt. These "Special Koffins" shouldn't even be available when the game is first turned on. One must beat arcade/story mode three times with each character on Hard Difficulty (Or some hard challenge like that). Once the task is completed, a clue appears at the bottom of the menu screen. The answer to the clue should unlock the extra coffin. Th clue could be something like Felt, Felt Pu 432 on FB Niffok, the path to riches will be unlocked. The code could mean press Left, Left, Up, 4, 3, and 2 on Koffin FB to unlock the koffin.
The Special Koffin could even include other modes, such as a suped up Conquest, where the character travels around the world and completes missions for koins (Soul Calibur-esque). This mode should be done with all characters, because upon completing the mode, more indepth storylines for the chosen character can be exposed. Maybe even screenshots, images, and profiles of past MK personas.

That's a good idea, but I think the fatality combination should be included inside the manual.
Anyway, I like the idea you have, because, you have a better prospective of what you will be getting, because, it will be just for that individual character only. I don't really care about sketches though, they could leave those out and add something better.
The way stuff is unlocked in MKTE is pretty cool. Maybe beat the game with certain characters, like if you beat the game with Sub-Zero and Frost is mentioned, you unlock Frost. Or if you perform a fatality with a character in a certain stage you unlock another stage or something.

I would love it to be unlockable from different directions. Some you would buy in the krypts, some you get weapons when you beat arcade with a certain character. Then get a different weapon beating it with the same character 3 times.
Some you get after playing for X amount of hours. Some you get on certain holidays, like xmas, easter etc. Some you get if you type in certain names in the records screen. Some you get if you go to the menus in certain order. Some are hinted at when you beat the game.
Some are only unlockable at certain times of the day. Some can only be unlocked if you lose a certain number of times. Some can only be accessed after you have beat the game with every character.
Some can only be unlocked if you put in a date before the games release (this maybe also a good way to put in a joke message). Test your site/might can only be unlocked after certain requirements are met. More than 4 costumes per character.
Minigames can be unlocked after getting everyone's costumes. Like basketball, or volleyball or soccer using the MK character models. (Yes I still love NBA Jam) Pong can be opened, as can galaga. Playing those games for so many hours/wins will unlock other things. Such as, weapons, videos of behind the scenes at midway, lists of codes for the older mk games (mostly got get the secrets out once and for all! :)), Older MK fav's that didn't make it to the storyline, but fans want. Also could unlock, boss characters.
but the biggest things I would like to see unlockable: Special Moves, and Fatalities! Think about it before you groan; We can avoid things like last time. You have to play a lot to get your fatality fix. You have to play a lot to use "cheap" special moves. It makes you appreciate, and learn the game engine, and dynamics thereof. It adds tons of play hours to the game.
One last little proviso, sub/bosses can be fatalitied, and sub/bosses can perform them.

Well I'd actually like there to be 5 main chambers of the Krypt with each chamber having 100 koffins (10 X 10 layout). And there should be secret koffins as well as other secrets not found in any koffin. I'd like for some of the secret characters to lurk behind the koffins and such and run around the krypt to scare the shit out of people. (yes i know that sounds strange but I'd like some sort of effect like that). I like the idea from The_Suit about each character having their own Krypt. It would be interesting. As for the content, it should be stuff such as videos, perhaps classic MK games, mini games, alternate costumes, etc.
