While I agree with you in saying mk6 will be the best game so far, I disagree as to why mk:da wasn't this awesome creation... Yes they hyped it, they hyped it because they changed the whole mechanics of the game... MK:DA was basically an experiment, to see if mk could be a serious fighter, and mk:da made it into the runnings of a worthy candidate for a true 3d fighter.

NOw look at it this way, was mk1 better than mk2? Almost everyone would agree MKII is the best game yet... it was everything great about mk1, only advanced to the greatest possible level for that time. I believe MK6 will basically have that same effect that happend in the early ninties with the 2d MK games.

And also although it would have been great to see more fatalities in mortal kombat, must realize youc can't, or rather shoulnd't base a fighting game only on it's fatalities and end moves, MK:DA
s big mission this time was to show off the fighting not the gore, true it doesn't mean you can't do it along the way, but your worries will be fixed most likley in the next installment.

mkda was near perfection in my opinion. the only thing that disapointed me was like you said, lack of fatalities. another thing was no ending movies. the still shots were okay, but i would prefer what they did in mkgold with the movies. they were entertaining.another thing i was dissatisfied with were the game modes. they should have added a 2-on2 or some type of other mode. if they improve on those things, mk6 will surely surpass mk2 as being the best of all time.

I disagree also. I think MK: D A is the best game of all time( I am a hardcore MK fan). MK: D A is the best MK game to me. Sure it has its flaws, but what game doesn't? I think MK6 will be the best MK game, since MK: DA was great.
