Since Boon and Co. have added tons of new fetures to MK with the arrival of MKDA, which ones do you think will stick in MK6? Personally, I think the three-style combat system will return, as well as a slightly more interesting Konquest mode. The Krypt should go unless they find some more interesting stuff to unlock. The one-fatality scheme will obviously go, as well as the lack of stage fatalities. What do you think?

i think that as well the 3 fighting styles were really great for the franchise and will obviousley stick with that and for fatality's there no question we'll see at least 2 or 3 and yes the krypt was a good idea but should go but how would we earn the secondary costumes and characthers , some of way i guess and id like to see more arenas they promised us 25 and we didnt get it and id like to see more characther more then just 22 how about 30.

I think the krypt should affect gameplay more, like after you buy a certain number of koffins, you get one cheat menu, then as you open more, you get a second menu, etc. And the koffins should have good stuff in em. I don't mind starting off playing as say Sub-Zero, starting off with one fatality and one costume. Then, I can unlock in the krypt his second fatality, stage fatality, third fatality (hint hint Boon), second costume, maybe alternate weapon, and other stuff. Doing this for every character (not to mention having to buy certain characters to start out with), could make the krypt better. It doesn't necessarily have to have 676 koffins again, but if there are less, fill em with GOOD STUFF.

well i expect simple stuff

i think the the mk team will look at other games and try to incorporate some of that into mk6

like they will look at tao feng and put in more stage interations

more fatalities will be added
new characters will show up
as for the krypt and konquest, i see them stayed, but with improvements

konquest will still be a training thing, but it will involve the character actually doing stuff, instead of combos, like the 1 player modes for most fighting games

the krypt should look more elaborate
like a new design to it
and better stuff should be in the koffins

since mkda is so great, mk6 will only be able to tweak some things, cause there isn't much else they can do..yet(new technology is being made everyday)

I think they should have three fatalities per character, i.e. one for each stance. This would be call cos the MK design team could base it both on the martial art and the character's quicks. It would also be a lot more innovative than the current selection. It would also allow for a weapon fatality!!!

MK6 needs to have multiple GOOD fatalities, PIT II/ ACID POOL quality stage fatalities, a cheat menu or smaller krypt type method to unlock special items that affect gameplay, and an endurance round or two would be a good thing to bring back too. I think that if mk wants to compete with toa feng it needs to implement some of their ideas. For example, the ability to walk up walls, shatter limbs, etc.

I think the auto-crap, cough, i mean combos, need to be delt with accordingly. Different properties for the moves durring different situations. More emphasis on specials and actual moves. Though, they are on there way as i see it. The fatality-per-stance thing is pretty cool, too. Though, I'd be happy with two per character and three or four good pits/stage fatals.

I would also like to see less linearity (sp) for the combos. Fliping the oppenet onto their back, axis changes, etc. All of which would create different properties, thus oppertunites, for combos, set ups, etc. Oh, and yes, the three stance system has some good potential.

BRING BACK TOASTY, DAMNIT!!!!!!!!!! grin

Mk should have only 2 fighting styles, weapon and normal fighting style. your gonna want 2 make this a god game so it can blow every game out of the market and have shops full of mortal kombat. If u want to, try making this game with a shit load of features. 1 vs 1, tournament , secret charecters , biography , arena selection after you pick your charecter , AND ANIMATION VIDEO ENDINGS!!grin grin.im telling you, dudes and dudettes, with these features in mk deception.

how about the MIA ripped clothing? i want the little things , the eye candy

hell i think they should rework the graphics since i wasnt too impresses with the look of MKDA

i thikn the graphics in tao feng were right on and the three life bar thign was cool as was the damage effects on teh characters ...way above what MKDA did

but meh i think MKDA was a great step into 3d but everything about it needs tweeking and or reworking ....give me the eye candy as well as the gameplay

they need the clothing to get ripped in fights and stuff and maybe a fourplayer mode? it would be funny too have like 4 scorpions in a 3d world all beating each other up at the same time.. they need some thing that makes the game at times more than 2 player.. it's just funner that way all games are when theres massive 4 player action!! smile
