why you worrying about MK 7 when 6 isn't even out yet? if the sales continue to soar with this franchise i think its safe to say midway will continue this project...if anything, we can only expect greater things...even if that means all our fav characters die in mk6...and we have a whole new series of fighters to be introduced to.

I personally think there will be an MK7.

If people want a MK7 there will be a MK7. In order for midway to continue with this franchise it needs to sell games. So if MK6 sells alot of copies they will surely be a MK7.

Midway wouldnt be Midway if they didnt do mortal kombat they would be nothing special just another basic video game company but thank god they make one of the best games on earth ! mortal kombat will live on for a very long time id say !

Thats a high possibility. MK7 could possibly make a debute for Ps3, Xbox2 and the next Nintendo system. The graphics would be TIIIIGHT!

As for MK7 happening, i do see it happening. Mortal Kombat is way to popular, i dont see it stoping ANY time soon. I hope MK never stops, not even when it gets at MK10.

Seriously tho, MK7 will depend on MK6 as everyone has said here. I honestly believe if MK can take off again, we could be looking at the Movie, games, and more in the near future.

i PERSONALLY THINK AND I KNOW I AM RIGHT, THERE WILL BE A MK7, FIRST AFTER EVERY 3 GAMES(MKDA,MKD, AND MK7, THERE WILL BE A TRILOGY AFTER THAT ONE WITH ALL THE CHARACTERS FROM THOSE 3 GAMES) AND THE PS3 CAN DEFINALTLY HANDLE ALL THOSE CHARACTERS, SO XPECT NEARLY ALL THE CHARACTERS TO BE IN ONE GAME ONCE XBOX2 AND PS3 COMES OUT, CAUSE THE HARDDRIVES CAN HANDLE IT, TRUST ME AFTER THESE SALES AND THE NEW SYSTEMS COME OUT THERE WILL BE EVEN MORE HYPE, AND UMMM(WAT WERE U THINKING ARE U STUPID? MK WILL HAVE MANY MORE, THIS IS JUST THE BEGINGING CONSIDERING THEY JUST MADE NEW GAMEPLAY. SO DONT WORRY EXPECT A MK7 AND A TRILOGY TO FOLLOW.AND POSSIBLE A 4 NEW MOVIE.

I think that MK Deception will be the last MK game on the current systems, because it took two years to make it (MKDA-MKD : 2002-2004) and in 2006 Sony and Microsoft are planning on releasing their new gaming systems.
