Doesn't mean it can't get pushed back. I'd rather the top-dogs at Midway not rush the MK Team. The better MK8 is, the more money they will rack in.

That has been there for quite some time, there is also something on the PS3 fighting game pages saying that it is a working title. I think there is something like that about Dead or alive 5 as well on the x360 pages saying it is a working title but no info has been given on both of these games yet.
