What are some of your tactics when playing at high level? I also mean, without the use of A/C or 33. Of course this could also depend on the type of character your opponent is using, outside of that, what are your "general" PTW tactics?
Sometimes playing some of you I feel as if i'm fighting a losing battle. For the most part I think I have pretty good defence, but oftentimes, stumble over my feet when applying offence.

Well, my tactics vary with each character but as Karate would probally agree everyone has a particular style. My general stragey is to try to outthink my opp. If I think their gonna block High I go low and vice versa sometimes it blows up in my face and I end up eating a 30-50% combo but most of the time it works.
If you have a headset you can hit some of the High level players up (i.e. Ballcade..lol, Bone, Azuro, etc.)
I talked to Arcade on the headset last week for the first time and my game has gotten better just by taking some of his advice.

dude the carachter has nothing to do with high level play .
its about how much you understand the game you are playing . in order to get here you must understand how to adapt , understand your opponents , anticipate and once you get this , youll understand what im talking about . youll feel more free and the games that you play wont be games were you jump button mash or try to poke for the victory at the end .
its something that comes to mind over time . your experience in the game will change . this is the reason that high level play is beyond Fun . it becomes competitive and you will have more fun than any other match youve ever had . at the beggining i did not understand this . going against elites loosing 10 - 2 every match . it made no sense to me , untill it started getting clear to me . things changed and i understood how to play the game . karate knows what im talking about . shoot he saw me get better in like 2 or 3 days . lol . alot of ppl just wont get it and it wont come to them , = example = gan0n . lol . but if you do understand . youll know when , trust me .
here this might help you understand a little better .

If I simply do a move over and over and you see no progress, simply don't do that move. I try to mix it up with lows, throws, mids etc.
Or think as if you were the opponent in the situation, what would you do?It's not all that hard if you just think about it..Just use the way they play to your advantage.
Also I try to adapt to any style of play (although sometimes it doesn't work).Just think of an anit-style that would best benefit the loss of you opponent.
Those are my basic tactics,I may post more later.
