seeing that this is only for the PS2 version, and MKA was the highest profile Ps2 fighting game this year (T:DR was for PSP, and DOA was X360) im not surprised this one

Yup, it pretty much won by default.

Still, you'd think the head honchos here at MKO would at least make note of this info on the news main page or something.... I mean.. MKA won something.......despite all of the competition it had this year, it still won. Doesn't that count for a goddamned thing anymore?!?!?!?!?!?

Well, see, that's the thing it didn't really HAVE any competition on the PS2. Give it some time though I'm sure there will be a new thread about it at some point. It wouldn't hurt to submit the news lead though.

Why can't people just admit that MK:A is a good game to a lot of people?*long sigh* Well, it is an award so it kind of does mean something.

Yeah...MK:A won two awards in the past month, and UMK3 won best fighter at gamestop against DOA4, SF II Hyper and Tekken:Resurrection.Not exactly easy competition if you ask me.
Some have to accept that MK is doing well of late.Must be a thorn in the side of Tekken and DOA fans...what a pity.

I won't pretend that MKA is a good fighting game because it's not. Either way though there is an official thread on this now so I'll go ahead and close this one.
