-just wondering, why it is that Kira is the only character who doesn't really has her own special moves (Sonya's Kiss of Death, Kano's Cannon Ball).
--the only original Kira move was the Nightshade.

-also why did Sonya (steal Liu Kang's Flying Kick and lose her Leg Grab-trademark move-, cartwheel from MK4, and the uppercut bicycle kick)????
--even with all of that, Sonya Blade is vicious and is to be reckoned with.

You also could say why doesn't have Shujinko his own moves?

Kira is a mixture of both Kano and Sonya as mentioned by whoever created her. Mixing the two characters together will lead you to having one character sharing both characters' moves within one body.

Sonya not having her signature moves is a loss for those who are her fans. Unfortuantely, the desingers thought that the moves that replaced her originals moves were better, even though countless of fans complained about the leg grab not being one of them.

Not really sure on the exact reason why these happen, but unforutnately they do.

I hope Sonya dosen't use Lui Kang's signature voice during the bicycle kick. That would be weird.

Wtf are you talking about? Why would Sonya even develop a voice similar to Liu's while performing it? She's got her own grunt while doing that move.

I always thought it was because the creators wanted to save themselves some money by recycling old moves from old characters and make them seem fresh on newer ones...confused
I could be wrong, though...
