Well you probebly don't have to worry either way. I personally would guess that it IS true, mostly because it sounds very bealivible considering the economy and how many game companies have disappeared lately. But don't worry MKD will sell great, bottom line that chances of midway goin out of buisness is slim.

It's doubtful the series will end with so much hype over Deception, and then MK7 being said to be in works now, along with a third movie.

I find it unlikely Midway won't be able to make another MK for us, only because MK tends to sell well no matter how shitty it is. The amount of fanboys MK has will deffinately put it in a greatest hits collection for PS2 and xbox relatively quick. And besides I'm sure EA would buy out Midway before it went under.

Yeah, but that's all revenue, if they spend more than they gain, I mean, I'm sure they didn't spend millions of dollars on making it, but who knows?

The EA statement is very true. The MK franchise is big right now. With DA bringing MK back into the field of play, and with Deception only in 19 days (YES!) this franchise is gonna be around. Someone will buy it out if it goes under. And it won't be like Akklaim (SP?) went under, cause they had no titles that anyone wanted to buy.
