I hope it get's good reviews so many take an attempt to buy it, but other than that, I don't really care.

I never really listen to reviewers for one main reason, they are not me. I judge a game myself based on info, screen caps, videos and then if I'm still unsure, I give it a rent before buying it.

I'll say MKD gets anywhere from a 8.5 to 9. Maybe even a 9.5 at best.

i really dont know how you expect to predict the reviews. For all we know the reviewers could be critical A holes and give it a 7.5 . I wouldn't try to predetermine the score, it's just to soon.

I think EGM will bump up the score because of MKD's online gameplay.

I think the same thing. With how they are already putting it down, their not going to score it too high.

But IGN and Gamespot, along with other magazines should give it good scores.

I know it's tough to call these things, but I like trying to guess things of this nature. I'm gonna go high/low here. My best guesses:

IGN: They didn't like the old MK games, but they seemed to be really into MK:DA. I'm gonna bet conservatively here: 8.4/10

Gamespot: Depends on who reviews it. Jeff Gerstman can be a really good reviewer when he wants to be. I'm gonna go high here: 8.8/10.

EGM: Okay, this can go either way. Considering that they've had almost no coverage, and have dogged the game in what minimal coverage they have had, I don't think it's looking too good. I say good enough to miss a silver award. Oh yeah, and it'll also score lower than DOA Ultimate, even though that game is just a rehash of DOA1 and 2. So: 9/10, 7.5/10, 6/10

OXM: From what I've read, they really dig the MK series and MK:D for that matter. I think that OXM will give it the highest score out of all magazines: 9.4/10

XBN: They seem to be a bit harder to please in their reviews than OXM. I think the Nation will represent with: 8/10.

OPM: Also a bit conservative in their scores, and they're from the same camp as EGM. I recall them being somewhat indifferent to MK:DA, therefore: 3.5 discs.

PSM: They got the big scoop back in April, and they seem to be fans of the series and MK:D. Still, they don't usually go overboard on their scores, but I think they'll be kind. 9/10

GMR: This magazine likes 8's alot. They're a rather hard magazine to score high in, so I'm going to say: 8/10.

GameInformer: An awesome mag, but they tend to be a bit easy with the scoring. I can't remember how MK:DA scored, but my guess is in the 8.5 to 8.75 range. That said, I think they'll dig MK:D. I'm thinking they give it: 9.25/10

Again, totally guessing, but after reading many of these mags/web sites for years, you start to notice what games are loved/not loved by which reviewers. EGM for example always seems to put someone who hates MK on preview/review duty when a new MK game comes out. Still, I think the scores will be in the high 8 range if everything is solid, the low 9 range if it all comes together flawlessly, but reviewers are not afraid to dog MK games if things don't work right.

I can't wait to find out! Just curious, but will we possibly see some magazine reviews in september? That's when the October issues usually come out. Man, this wait is almost over!!!

Expect a review in the November issue's. A lot of mags just now reviewed Spider-Man 2 this month. Partially due to E3, but still, the October issue's will be on shelves while the game is being produced, if not a couple days before.

I think IGN will give it at least a 9.0 , since MK:D will be better than MK:DA , and that got an 8.6 if I remember well. I guess it can also depend on who reviews it , since Castlevania: LOI managed a 9.0.....

Anyone forgot about Gamepro mag, they have Mortal Kombat on their cover like 14 time over the year, that the most of any game ever to be on gamepro mag cover. They also gave good review for all MK game over the years, Major Mike usually do the review for all MK game and it never is below a 4.0 on the gameplay. Gamepro review the games like 5.0 is the highest and 1.0 is the lowest.

in amazon.com, the members of amazon has already made a review for this game, EVEN THOUGH THE GAME DIDNT COME OUT YET!!! two of them already gave MK:D a bad review, one of them says the game is not comeing out for gamecube so s/he gave the game 0/5 stars and segested NIntendo to sue Midway, and the other gave 1/5 stars cause they dont have Cage or Sonya and midway put the sucky characters like Mileena and Sindel in the game and predicted that the game will suck. I'm not kidding, go to amazon.com, put in Mortal Kombat Deception in the search box, click on the name and scroll down until you see the review section and you'll see it right there. The reason why im making a bit of a big deal is, is that they jump into conclusion about this game, they just gave the game a bad review because they didint get what they wanted.

I Think alot of ppl will take not having alot of their faves in hard. That is why i think htis game might get some bad reivews. ppl are character biased. when you got your copy of DA did everybody jump to Bo rai cho and go can't waiot to use him! no they went for the oldies like scorpion and Cage to see how they would fare ina 3d game on a next gen console. so if ppl want to give a shit review just becase "Kitana" or somebody isn't in that is their problem, they'lll miss out on a fantastic game.

I never go by the reviews they give they gave some games 9s and 10s that i would give a 3 or 4. I rate games on how i like them not how a website or magazine likes them

It might get 5.0,an I'll still buy it because I've enjoyed every MK game so far.

it will get a 0 because they screwed us out of MK1 on MAT2, not buying

places like EGM will give it very bad reviews cause those bastards are very biaed and still bitter about not getting the MKDA cover story.

However IGN, OXM, GI, GS and such sites and mags will all give it over 9. GS will give it an 9.1, IGN will give it a 9.4, GI will give it a 9.8 and OXM will give it a 9.5.

I know what all the reviews will say. They will all say that MKDA was a great game and this is like one big upgrade. just the fact that all the mini games can be games on their own will give it a good score because of production quality. and the fact that all this is online only sweetens the deal.
