I was wondering if anyone knew any of the Mortal Kombat Staff's screenames. I ask this since I just played a guy whose name was "J-Vogel". I challenged him, and I won 3 matches to 1.
Here are a few factors which I think make it legit:
- Obvious username. If you remember, Ed Boon's name was seen as "Noob De"
- Skill Level. MK Staffers are known for making great games, but not nesscessarily being the best at them. Juding by what I fought against, and what was seen in the IGN vs Boon videos, I would say the skill level is somewhat comparable.
- Character choice. During one of our fights, he picked Bo Rai Cho. He kept using moves I've never seen anyone else use online before (Quake Stomp, and sticking to the Sumo style, which Ed Boon has done in the video fights with IGN) Plus (and correct me if I am wrong), but didn't Vogel say Bo Rai Cho was one of his favorites?
-Location. Probably a small thing at best, but his town was listed as "Outworld". I forgot the state.
Can anyone confirm this? Did I really kick John Vogel's ass?
