Do you think that the fighting controls in MKSM were better or worse than those in MKD? Post it.

I thought the controls were great in MKSM. I just wished that the camera control was a bit better. It felt rather restrictive to me and I hated the times in which it did the whole snapping back and forth with the views like in the old Resident Evil games...

I didn't have that much trouble with the camera. But I agree, I prefer the controls in MKSM.

after playing with SM, i have a hard time going back to D's fighting style, seems slow and klunky.

I really like the controls, but for a traditional MK game, I'd prefer they keep the more traditional scheme.
That said, I would LOVE to see a game come out as an expanded version of the versus mode. Imagine a MK Trilogy type roster combined with the versus mode and 4 player support. It would be a great party-type game, like Smash Bros Melee with MK characters and 3d movement.

Just have the jump & throw controls swap places on the controller & it's pretty much traditional(except for specials, but I liked how they did them in MKSM).

I like the controls. But I did have camera issues. I would have preferred an action camera with a full 360 turning capability. More like Ninja Gaiden I suppose but not so bad.

I would have like the option to change the controls. Only cause i usually like to have block on the right trigger.
