MKT2 Thread
MK TRILOGY 2 should be exactly the same as MK DA but whit all the chars + multiple fatalitys pit fatalitys and brutalitys(which will look superrior cuz there are 2 styles + weapon and when you kick the opponent whit the 2 styles and then you kill him brutal whit your weapon thiz is like a mix of brutality and weapon fatality) now you'll say THERE IS NOT A LOT SPACE ON THE DISC but i'll say there are DVDs whit 10 GIGA BITES on them and MKT2 will be on DVD like that... that game can include crypt all the new modes all the chars all the arenas and everry ting you want its on ed boon to make it what ya think ?

Well I think that you need to make your explanations easier to understand before I can let you know what I think of your ideas.

I heard many rumors that there will be a MKT2 i hope there is one,But first i would like to see a perfect Arcade port of MK1-MK4 all on one disc.The Next Gen systems(xbox,PS2,and Gamecube)all have enough power to store games all on one disc.If Midway can put 22 games all on one disc with there new Arcade Treasure's then they should be able to port perfect arcade port's to the next gen systems.

MKT2 is not in the works--a few fans keep acting like it is, though. I say screw it, just keep making new MKs, forget the "Trilogys." Seriously, though, they aren't going to waste their time on something like this. They wouldn't have enough disc space to fit that many 3D characters.

Okay, here's my reply from two other threads that are practically identical to this one:
"Or... they could work on MK6
. Yep, I like that one better.
If they do another compilation, or another trilogy, which they *could* do after MK6 (MK4, MKDA and MK6), then they might, but I wouldn't be excited about it. I would buy it probably, but I wouldn't be as hyped as if it were a completely new Mortal Kombat."

I like the idea of a new trilogy, but I'd much rather see a Mortal Kombat vs kind of game... especially a MK vs SF deal, but I think I have a better chance seeing Elvis and Tupac walking down the street together in harlem than that;

LMAO, I love nitro, Now in 4-D!
Nitro, was joke made by the midway guys. It starred on Ed boon's web page in 1998. WWW.NOOB.COM
As for another trilogy, you might be surprised how much more room 2D takes on a disc vs. 3D. 2D games require more room, because you need all of the frames for the animation (digitized characters included). So actually, you might get by with 3 mk's on one disc, but not 4. Unless you make an aft trilogy which would be 4, DA, and 6. Because 3D takes less room, it would still be hard to program, because you would have to use one universal graphics engine. And you would still have the problem of fighting engine designs. That is what made MKT beautiful, like the SF games of past, and the KOF games of past, they all used the same fighting engine. No reprogramming, just slap a few guys in and give the occasional new move.
That's why I find it a low possibility that there will be a second trilogy.

I'd love to see a secont trilogy, with all the characters. I think it would be awsome, in 2D or in 3D. And although I wouldnt like to see Friendship/babalities/brutalities in Mortal Kombat Deception, I think it would be great to have them in a MKT2 with every character. What a great idea.
