Ed Boon likes to talk around the Corner :) he said NO in a way that does not mean "no there is nothing" . For sure Ed would never say us who, what, where or when. But as said in other Threads i think that statement from him had to be done because the most MK Fans were dissapointed by the answers they got.

I still don't have a clue. It seems so weird.....right now I dunno if there are or no SUs.....but I'm beggining to think there are no SUs once again....

I think that Ed Boon wants the real deserving fans to find this secret. Keep playing, im sure that in the future we will discover more about it... Im posotive there are at least two more hidden characters...

No, there aren't. And about that MKaustralia thing, I would take Eds word over that person.

I agree outworld. I just think people don;t want to waste their time on something that may or may not exist.

Wrong, actually Boon said YES second time around, he did say NO first time, but he said in a the context of the MAIN selection screen... which is considered a DODGY answer.

Let's NOT quick to judge MortalKombat Australia is unreliable, maybe they ARE telling us the Truth about the email they got?

what i want to know is who was boons email officially sent too? it was posted on all of the mk boards (here, ign, gamespot, etc...)

I sent this Yarden at MKAustralia guy an email to ask about his source.

Just wanting to know why they trusted this email.

this is from Scott-Howell himself and what i dont understand is that if he was told that no su's exist by boon then why would boon turn around and say that they do. this makes scott and company look like liars and it makes ed boon look like a liar as well. i dont like to call anyone liars and i dont think that scott howell is a liar but if this conformation is true then thats pretty messed up on ed boons part, to make other people look bad. this is just speculation though.. we do not even know where the conformation of sus email originally was sent to so until there is more information i am keeping my mouth shut.

actually boon said there werent any selectable from the main menu. and later on in the fightnight chat he answered yes to the secret character question and all of the mk team replied to the question with eithier yes no maybe vague answers to lead you in different ways but boon said yes look at the transcript again.

so my question is... who was the email originally sent too? only the mka site? or did it go to other admins as well? also, who was the first to post this message? the first person that posted this should be the person who has the original email and can give more info.

i dont know if any one all ready brought this up..i havent been on in a while..but i got this website that has screens off...onaga as a puzzle fighter character as well as Monster from the nexus..and alot more other Puzzle fighters that arent on the puzzle fighter character select screen..also has pics of Onaga as a playable in Kombat mode..but i dont know if im aloud to post the site address??..can some one let me know if i can.

Im not sure who all it was sent to, it was posted on the site while i was away last night, I didnt find out about it till earlier today... thats about all the info I can give... Ive never been lied to before by my fellow admin and mods at MKA so im trusting them on this one as well...

Super Unlockables Confirmed!!!

Yes folks it has been confirmed that there are Super Unlockables in Mortal Kombat Deception. After recieving an e-mail today with a quote from Ed Boon we are pleased to be the first to announce that there truly are Super Unlockable characters. Which are these characters? due to the game not been released yet to 75% of the world that cannot be revealed yet. However they do exist and you should not give up.

The quote from Ed Boon is as follows received on 27th October 04.

"The main grid of characters is going to be 24, but there will be more. We wanted to add things that may not even be apparent on the select screen. Things such as achieving certain goals, some in two player modes of Kombat and Online Kombat and some things in Puzzle and Chess Kombat. So there will be many hidden features in Deception. Not all of them will be additional characters, however, there will be additional characters to MK Deception. But it will be hard to find them."

So there you have it, the super unlockables are confirmed. How to obtain them will not be revealed for a while after the games have been out in all countries.



That is the headline from www.Mortalkombataustralia.com. I kind of find it hard to believe that Australia would get this type of info before the U.S. (No offense Aussies, you know I love ya.) I do believe that there are secret characters in this game, but it'll be a real bitch to find them. Reading the fight night transcript gave me even more hope.

Actually, I would think that Australia would get this information before us. This would give Australia reason to buy the game and not giving us this information would prevent us from searching further for SUs, this way we won't have them unlocked by the time they get the game. Perhaps we were getting too close. ; )

Gee.That sounds word for word what Ed Boon said in his Gamespt interview back in May.I believe that like I believe in the tooth fairy.lol
