First of all, I play online with the PS2. Ok, so after having people disconnect on me 3 times yesterday while I was kicking their asses I finally got back online last night for some Kombat. Since I'm new I went into the beginners room. My first 3 fights I just destroyed my opponents, which is cool considering I'm not all that good. But then someone challenged me and I accepted and got my ass torn apart 3 times in a row. I mean, I couldn't get even get one hit in most of the time and this person would only play with Kenshi while I fairly played random characters(isn't that the only fair way?). Anyway, my question for other online players, and mostly for the really good ones, is why would someone who can kick so much ass be playing in the beginners room? This is a commom problem for virtually every online PS2 game I've played and it makes no sense. It takes away from fairness and IMO makes the good player look like a stat-raising asshole. Is this just me or do other people know what I'm talking about here? To me, it's bullshit and it makes it a lot less fun to play. I mean, I can handle losing. Like I said, I'm not that good at this game. I don't really have time in my life to be really good. But at the same time I like a fair fight and not to just be a tool for someone to use to increase their stats. IMO Miday needs to incorporate something that automatically locks people out of the beginners room after so many fights and wins versus their losses. That way some fairness can be maintained and everyone can enjoy playing. Shoot, it seems to me that barely anybody hangs out in the other rooms, when alot of them need to. Sorry for the rant, but it just bugs me. If anyone out there is one of these ass-kicking stat-raising assholes please rethink yourself. It's great that you're so good at the game but take some friggin pride in yourself and go to a more advanced room where you can play with people on your own level. If anyone wants to play fair and play with a Noob like myself look for me online as MKINCO. Peace all.

That is just the room everybody goes to. I doubt anyone acutally pays attention to the name of the room. I have very rarely seen anyone in the advanced or expert rooms. And when they were, they had shitty records.
My record is 520-189 and I still go into the beginners room. Not to 'pad my stats' but because that is where everyone is and the best and easiest chance to get a game.

yah... since everyone went there since day 1... people go there all the time. Nothing we can do... just when u challenge someone, check their record out before you accept . And yah... I just realized people who play with Kenshi can be cheap... :-\ I like playing as Kenshi too... but even I'd call myself a dickhead if all I did was "stay back" and wait for my opponent to come close so I can perform one of Kenshi's moves. Even I get sick and tired of doing the same move on an opponent, even if ts in crucial time where I'm a hit away from losing.

you can always just make your own room saying "noobs only" or "NO EXPERTS!". I make my own channel all the time for the headset and have even gone into other's custom rooms where I fit the requirment. I havn't had any problems finding ppl to fight. I used to goto the beginers room but that's when I was new. Sure there are more ppl there but I usually find better ppl to fight in a custom channel. Quality is better then quantity lol.

Yeah that happened to me...I got challenged by someone who did nothing but pick Dairou and do the backslam move over and over (I finally see what everyone is talking about...Dairou CAN be pretty f'in cheap). After he beat me 3 times in a row, I came back and beat him 4 times in a row, then I have no idea what happened, but I absolutely could not get a move in afterwards...my combos didn't work and he seemed to be a speed demon all of a sudden...I'm assuming it was a connection issue, maybe on my end, but it seemed like he could've been using a codebreaker to be honest, because whenever I beat him he immediately Hara-Kiri'd himself before 'Finish Him' even finsihed being said. so basiclaly he was Hara-Kiri-ing himself as fast as the computer does, which I know is impossible for a human being to do.
Hence why I've resolved to playing only people I know, or people on this forum that may want to challenge me...i'm sick of playing against people who use codes, because its happened way too much already (one hit kills, constant healing, increased damage, etc). Its like alot of people have this thing in their head that they must be the best, so they cheat to get their wins up. You can usually tell the cheaters if you challenge them, and reject your request, and then challenge you again (so they can be in the player 1 slot).
Online is seriously flawed, but hey, thats why I only stick to the people I know now
