Um, i have not heard that this game will be a cross over game. Now just becasue i havent heard it doesnt make it not true, but im willing to bet thats false.

Now, we have heard them say they are going to shock us with this game. Something brand new. So be prepared to be dissapointed, or to be very happy about some of the changes.

I'm ready to get dissapointed.They better not screw us over and give us a bad game.The worse the MK games are ,the fewer people are actually going to care about their next games.

I don't want it to be a crossover game either. You would think MK fans are kind of wanting it by looking at the MK Online poll though. Pretty pathetic on their part too.

Yeah, I was about to say, while I don't think MK8 should be a crossover game (nor should any game within the main MK arc), I would not mind seeing a "Mortal Instinct"/"Killer Kombat" crossover with MK characters as well as fighters from the Killer Instinct world.

Both games have more supernatural-based themes, and a lot of the characters are very similar in some ways. I mean, just imagine a potential roster:

* The Fulgores vs. Sektor & Cyrax
* Cinder vs. Blaze
* Glacius vs. Sub-Zero
* Jago vs. Liu Kang
* Riptor vs. Reptile
* Sabrewulf vs. Nitara
* Spinal vs. Shang Tsung
* TJ Combo vs. Jax
* Chief Thunder vs. Nightwolf
* Black Orchid vs. Sonya Blade
* Eyedol vs. Goro
* Maya vs. Mileena
* Tusk vs. Raiden
* Kim Wu vs. Kitana
* Gargos vs. Onaga

You can make Scorpion an unlockable character somehow, and maybe hide some other Mortal Kombat favourites in there as unlockable characters (I'm thinking Noob Saibot, Quan Chi and Shao Kahn).

It'd be a fun game, I think. You can just give each character two Fatals/Fatalities, and I think it would all blend pretty nicely.

MK8 is not a cross over game, its been clearly stated by Ed himself, that its a restart of the mk series, not cross over,, just brand new everything, characters, stages and fatalities,
