I believe that this game has the best intro compared to recent games. Deception had an amazing intro as well. However, I believe that this introduction to the game was much more interesting. The reason why I think it is the best is because it shows everybody fighting in the beginning. Around, the middle, when the pyramid comes up, I love the way that everybody looks around in confusion. I also like how the epic battle to the top of the pyramid began. The ending, is personally my favorite part. I enjoy when Zombie Liu Kang comes from out of the shadows to kill Shang Tsung. They fight until Shang Tsung gets to the top, only to have Liu Kang's hooks jabbed into his shoulders. That is the best part in my opinion. Along with Blaze being revealed at the end. That intro got me pumped up to play some MK:A. What are your thoughts? Do you think another MK intro is better? Is there any other specific part of this/an intro you liked?

There's not really any competition between the MK intros. They're all pretty good.

But I think my favorite scene is in the MKA intro where the good characters and the evil characters are running up to each other... or maybe in MKD where Raiden, Quan Chi and Shang Tsung are working together to kill Onaga the Dragon King.

It was very good. However, it did show some characters that might not make it in the next game.

Li Mei- Killed by Hotaru
Sheeva- Killed by Kenshi
Kenshi- Killed by Quan Chi

I hope Li Mei makes it though. sad

I am pretty sure that opening waqs NOT canon. Just to show the battle. Arcade pretty much symbolizes your battle up the pyramid. And weve never really seen a 100% decision until the enxt game's bios and stories.

Canon or not, Tsungey boy kicked asses of at least quarter of all the combatants... and the second uppercut he delivered to Liu Kang was simply a gem!grin

I wish he had actually reached the top of the pyramid. sad

I remember reasding the article at E3 of a Behind close doors, no camera showing of the intro. There was apparentyl another version because an earlier one has Sektor shooting missiles and hes NOWHERE to be seen in this one.

god damn midway. hahaha

The intro clashes with the continuity of the konquest mode.

In the intro, all the kombatants are on the pyramid trying to get to Blaze, before he appears from a blaze of fire, as his huge monstrous form, roaring chaotically.

However, in Taven's konquest, Blaze appears just standing on the pyramid, without any blazing auras, or monstrous roars, and even askes Taven to fight him in a rational manner, with no kombatants climbing the pyramid.

Also, at the start of the intro, we see a figure on a cliff, looking down before all the kombatants start charging and fighting, which we are led to believe is Taven. But this is a while before the pyramid even appears, as the kombatants must dual first, before the pyramid rises.

However, in Taven's konquest, when he does look down from the cliff, it's the moment the pyramid rises.

Also, yet alone how all of the kombatants Taven encounters in the mode, throughout the realms, find themselves suddenly all in Edenia randomly.

No matter how much you wrote in that post or how funny your sig is, you still bumped the thread...

OH GOD NO, BEEZLEBUB.

If I bumped it with something like

"yeah it was cool"

I'd empathize with your rudeness.

However what I'm doing, it happens to be called "contributing". You know, actually taking the time and effort to sit down and deliver something that actually makes people think.

Universal rule of forums, better to post in an existing thread, than to start a new one, if you have something you wanna say.

I'd say the same thing to a staff member, if they were here. Message boards are created as a medium to deliver feedback and content from fans. Rules are there to preserve the safety of the members and positive future discussion/ideas, and to prevent spam or unsuitable content. But quoting or referencing rules to PREVENT detailed responses? Really? Is that what you're trying to throw at me here? Sounds a bit like Seido, when you should be more like Edenia, if you know what I mean.

No, don't get me wrong, I am very happy that you put time and effort into your post and I love that you contributed but the rules say a thread more than three months old is considered to be a "dead" thread. I am Edenian, no Seido for me.

You do realize that these forms, excluding the "general, fan art, future and overall" nobody really goes on it like the ones that are excluded right? Basically anyone who has bumped a three year old thread on these forms, people don't really care.

But anyways, it's sad that Sadistic_Freak isn't on here anymore because I'd like to argue that what he said isn't true. Basically if it was true, those characters that got killed during the intro wouldn't even be playable but since this intro is not even remotely cannon, then there's nothing to worry about.

Hopefully, we can all say that the incoming game would obviously have a really cool intro, I mean the first trailer that popped out it had Kahn and Raiden, obviously we're going to get something that shows Raiden sending a telepathic message to his past self, warning him about the future and such. So of course this will be a cooler intro than Armageddon. But as of right now Armageddon has the coolest intro.

I liked all the intro's but personally(even though its not in the canon storyline) i loved the shaolin monks intro the best. It was much more personal and you got a better look at the specific fighters and there moves.

Subbies spine rip FTW!
