Ok, I have read in many thread some asking what were the Brother of the Shadows,...and some others. So I'll try to explain with pics who are the members and what the logo looks like.
Like this, you won't get lost when someone will bring things like that. lol
Brothers Of The Shadows:
Clan from the netherrealm, they worship the evil and fallen elder god Shinnok. This clan is lead by Quan Chi.

Nimbus (rumored)
Note:
Jataaka, Kia and Sareena first appearence was in MK Mythology.

Lin Kuei:
A secret assasin Ninja Clan. Their warriors with special skills are chosen at birth and they passed their skills from generation to generations. They'll do any work in exchange of money. This clan is no longer what it used to be because of Subzero (MKDA).

Red Dragon:
The Red Dragon had existed for centuries as a secretive criminal organization. Members such as Mavado were highly skilled and disciplined warriors. But in the last century, many of the more reckless members became dissatisfied with the restraints of the code of the Red Dragon placed on them and broke away to form their own gang. Since then, it has been the Red Dragon's number one priority to completly eradicate the infidels known as the Black Dragon.

A japanese Renegade Lin Kuei warrior; Takeda offered his serviced to many lords and generals. His skills were copied and learned all over the country. Unlike the Lin Kuei, the skills coulb be learned and mastered by aynone with enough pratice.

This is the order of monks in which young warriors are raised and educated. They reside in the Shaolin temples of the Honan province in China. The White Lotus Society is a super secret organisation of the Order of light, that represent the Shaolin Temples. Their monks belong to the best warriors.

Excellent, this is very informative. 
I think this should be stickied and what not so that when more characters are shown/released we can look for these symbols to see if we can place them within a clan.

Of course I made short and to precise, the order is random.
btw, If some of you are willing to add more information to the clans or add a clan for the continuance, you are free to do so and I'll be more than happy to receive some help.

tahts great ive always loved the various clans & races and stuff i cant picture MK without them.
Personally im excited about the Tekunin and whatever place or clan Hotaru is from cant remember, does anyone no what it is

Good job MaxDam, but maybe you would like (it would be best to do it, trust me 
) add all the clans you create in your original post.
The one of Special Forces should be with the rest you made first. It looks better, you keep updating and editing your post so we can all see the clans when we first come in, and not in different post and places.
