Is there anyway to still play any of the 3D era games online in 2021?? I know 15-18 years ago certain versions of these games were playable online, are there any makeshift ways or servers where these can be played by chance? I'm emulating the GameCube and Wii versions, but would be open to playing them on PS2 or OG Xbox if needed.

Headlocked Gaming (Youtube Channel) has an excellent video on how to play 3D Era MK games online. If I recall correctly, you must have a PS2, memory card, and ethernet cable. If the video is still up to date, I cannot confirm.

I played Mortal Kombat Armageddon online only a few months ago, and it honestly blew me away. Usually, the servers are a ghost town, but I'm sure there are people out there who'd be down to play if you can get in contact.

PS. If you are able to set up correctly, you should also play other PS2 games online, Like Star Wars Battlefront II, etc.

Yes, you can! There is plenty of tutorials on youtube.
