posted09/14/2004 08:25 PM (UTC)byWell, if there was one good thing that I got from the new EGM, it was the ad for an i-Guide dedicated to MK: Deception. Apparently it's a DVD strategy guide that has gameplay videos showing how to perform certain maneuvers, printable move lists (through DVD-ROM use obviously), and "tons of bonus content". All it shows for the bonus content is a shot of Raiden (which appears to be from the intro) and the option to view an alternate render... maybe it's a multi-angle version of the intro showing a test version on one angle and the final version on the other. Here's the ad:

I'm pretty sure an ad is ok, they showed the Deception ad on the front page news.

Yeah the game magazines come out a month ahead here.If the disc is with the mag lemme know so I can run to my mailbox.Otherwise it is no rush.
It's not in the mag, it's just an ad. EB Games and GameStop are the two in-store retailers that are mentioned on the iGuides website. My guess is that it will be in stores the same day as the game. If not, you can order it. Not sure how much it'll be though.
