Back from E3 2004 is Greg, who came back with some information that you may be interested in...While at the expo, Greg had the chance to speak with a Midway representative, who told him that due to high demand, Mortal Kombat: Deception is in the planning stages for the GameCube! Since Midway hasn't exactly supported the GameCube well, I assume that the plan could fall through at any time. But you heard it here, from Greg first. As of right now, Mortal Kombat: Deception is indeed being planned for the GameCube."
Right now, as you read from there, it is only in the planning stages. But it seems as if Midway got a lot of compliants from Gamecube owners who were disappointed to here the game wasn't coming to Gamecube.

This is great news, surely they should of expected this though. They shouldn't of cancled it in the first place

If this is true, which I doubt due to money problems at Midway, the game maybe played online via warp pipe and using the lan that Nintendo GC has. Oh and Biby128 what in the sam heck are you talking about? Nintendo has an online system? The only console to have a setup system is XBox (the PS2 is a peer to peer network, but I guess you can call that a system).

Where did this Midway doesn't support GameCube come from??
Honestly i believe MK:D isn't coming to GC because of the content. I think it's dark, bloody, violent, and probably too hardcore for GC. Honestly, they don't have a lot of violent bloody games and I just figured not carrying MK:D was just another 'we don't need that' type thing with Nintendo.
Where did the Midway hates Gamecube thing come from?

I really doubt that MKD will appear on GC, GC does not have bloody and violent games. So I really doubt it, besides Midway will lose a lot of money with GC. Everyone knows that PS2 and Xbox are mostly played by teens and adults.
Anyone who just said "Gamecube doesn't support violent games" is a REALLY big fucking idiot. Apparently all of you have forgotten that Gamecube does have violent games (Deadly Alliance, Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes, the ENTIRE Resident Evil series including their exclusive RE4). The days of "ShitNES" have long since passed.
The whole reason I signed up for this forum was to explain why it isn't on Gamecube, but there will always be some idiot who retains "NiNteNo dusn't lyke vilent gamnes!!!!11" like a fucking retard.
1) The online capabilites of the Gamecube are slim, and if you've played the PS2 and Xbox online networks, you can notice this.
2) The Gamecube has a VERY small diskspace in comparison to PS2 and Xbox, so fitting all of Deception onto it is LITERALLY impossible. Features will be removed if it does come to Gamecube, that is guaranteed.

Yeah, anyone who uses that violent content excuse, doesn't know what they are talking about. Resident Evil(remake) and Resident Evil Zero are extremely gorey and sometimes disturbing and is ONLY on GAMECUBE. SAME with MGS:Twin Snakes... That hasn't been an excuse since before MKII... later

The point in having multi versions of MK: D is online. PS2 owners will play against PS2 owners, Xbox live users will play against Xbox Live users, thus more people to fight online. If gamecube version has online that will be more people to fight against. To me MK6 online will be a must own on each system since each gives you a chance to fight as many people as you want. Also Nintendo is willing to put anything on there system reguardless of blood and gore . ( I hope this thread is true)
Regardless of the reasons, purchasing the exact same game for 3 different consoles is just plain stupid. That's $150. Don't you think there will be enough people online with X-Box to play against? You sound like you'll be playing it 24/7, and have no life. May God have pity on your idiot soul if you're dumb enough to buy this game for 3 consoles.

First off Aberx before you start flaming people you get one thing straight. PS2 has the largest site base out there and PS2 will most likely sell more copies, thus there will alot more people to play against. Second what I do with my money is my business, I'll buy anything I damn please, including buy MK: D on 3 consoles which I will do, as I explained before in my 2nd post here I would like to challage people no matter what the console. I don't care what you think. If you foolish enough to flame about such a topic you should stay off these boards . You make up these dumb ideas that I will play this game 24/7 as you say just to back your false facts to make your statement seem so true is weak. May god have pity on your weak soul for commenting with such sorry behavior.
