With the talk about what band should do the theme for MKD in another post I thought I would bring this possibility up. What if they came out with a CD with songs inspired by or in MKD. All the band/lyrical songs could be on this cd. Maybe have some mainstream alt. bands, some true heavy metal bands, the immortals could kick a revamped techno syndrome in there, and viola... thoughts?

No reason for an Album. That's a waste of time and money.

I like the idea, but it'd be better to just have the songs in game!

Imagine being able to listen to these songs in game and having them play throughout your matches.

There is no point. There is now a hard drive out for PS2, and you will be able to load the songs that you want into the game more than likely...So there is no point of an album.

But most likely MKD won't have customizable soundtracks... most fighting games don't, mainly due to the fact that they are designed for PS2, and even with the hard drive, a small amount of people will have the hard drive and therefore Midway will be lazy and not include customizable soundtracks in the PS2hard drive version or the Xbox version...
The first MK had an album, though it was all The Immortals and most of the songs were cheesy techno songs based on the characters... though my idea was only a suggestion...
