Well it's been 8 years since Mortal Kombat Trilogy, and three mortal Kombat's, and two spinoffs later, Boon and Co have added about 35 characters to the mix.

My question is, is a Mortal Kombat Deception + (Sort of an MK Trilogy 2) possible? Could Midway pull off a 70 character game? Or is that just too massive to ever realistically happen?

Too massive. Maybe on PS3, Xbox 2, and N5 they can pull it off. I still doubt it though. Probably have to wait a while for that.

I say down the road , When they decide to make the final MK game, they should put every character ever in it. Down the road, in 10 years, that could be entirely possible. Think about where games were 10 years ago. In 10 more years, a 70-100 character game won't seem so mind blowing.

Maybe it could be the 10th mortal Kombat and be called MK-X or something. I dunno.
