A couple of questions for you guys.

What did the animals/numbers on noob.com have to do with the new game?

When I heard of an MK vs DC game it reminded me of all the talk a few years ago about an MK vs Street Fighter game. Didn't like the idea then, and I don't like it now.

If Mortal Kombat was to do a vs game I would have liked to see one of two scenarios:

MK vs Killer Instinct - both games are very similiar and would have been incredible to see. Since no Killer Instinct 3 is being made, it would have been an awesome addition to both series.

MK vs Movie Maniacs. Michael Myers, Jason, Freddy, Chucky, etc. Can you imagine what the fatalities would be like? Pretty gory and dark I would think. Would have been cool to have some hidden characters from the old Universal Monsters like Dracula and Frankenstein. I would have loved to see Baraka vs Leatherface or Kano vs Dracula....

What do you think?
Dude, I was thinking about Mk vs MM too. I have a lot of McFarlands MM figures in my room and was thinking that. I'd like that more than DC. The game would be disgusting and disturbing haha. What I thought this game would be...

I think the Rage is a foreshadow to a Next-Gen Primal Rage game, just my opinion.

There really isn't a lot of great Horror Movie characters. I'd be a nice touch though... Although that would require A LOT of director permissions and not to mention each director taking part in the game with his own "vision" of the game... It'd be asking for too much in the end.

Are you kidding? There would be a ton of movie killers to choose from! I don't think there would be that much red tape as you think. Maybe if they were making a movie with all of them, but not a videogame. Spawn has done most if not all figures for the movie maniacs.

My roster would look something like this, in no particular order ( Just imagine the fatality possibilities).

Wolfman
Count Orlok
Creature from the Black Lagoon
King Kong
Frankenstein
Dracula
Vampires
The Mummy
Bride of Frankenstein (would love to see her fight Sindel)
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
The Phantom of the Opera (lon Chaney)

Michael Myers
Jason Vorhees
Hannibal Lechter
George A. Romero's Zombies
Freddy Kruger
Chucky
Leatherlace
Ghostface (Scream trilogy)
Pinhead (Hellraiser)

This list is of my top 20 although I'm sure there are names that can be added. If you were to pick the top 20 MK fighters who would they be and what matchups would you like to see?

Move Maniacs would have been just as gay, if not gayer than DC Universe. But that's just my opinion.

You see? Even MK fans can have stupid fucking ideas just like the MK Team. We're all not so perfect anymore now are we?

Sure. You can have the ninja SPECTER Scorpion...the God of the Underworld, Shinnok...demons Drahmin and Moloch, and half demons like Baraka, but adding movie maniacs, most of which are possessed, cursed, or at the very least supernatural makes it gay...sound logic there, pal.

Anyway, my lineup would be

Jason Voorhees from Friday part 7
Michael Myers
Freddy Krueger
Pinhead
Leatherface

Now heres the problem: The characters I listed above would fit well in the MK universe, however, al of them, except for pinhead, uses weaponry. Freddy can get away with it, I suppose, because his glove is short range. But Michael uses a Butcher's knife, Jason, all sorts of weapons(and bare hands), Leatherface, the chainsaw

Also, none of them know martial arts, so I don't know how effective this idea would be..I had a similar idea a few years ago, but realized that it would be hard to make work without them knowing MA.

Of course, my logic is totally wrong because it conflicts with what you're currently fantasizing and masturbating to: MK vs Movie Maniacs. Well excuse me.
You're just another shit head who thinks they're right just because you can find similarities between two things you like and it would make a great game in your opinion. WHOOP DEE FUCKING DOO, now shut the fuck up. Your thoughts are no better than the MK Team's.
Like I said, your ideas are just as gay, if not gayer, than DC comics. Have fun with your thread, wish and bitch all you want. But in the end, you get to put your lube and tissues away and deal with reality: DC Universe.

VENOMOUS75,

I think you're right about finding the right balance between weapons-based fighting and straight martial arts. But if they were going to totally rebuild MK from the ground up, I think there might be compromise. You would have the martial artists with magic (lui kang's fireball, etc..) Animal fighters (think Sabrewolf from KI) Movie Maniacs and Monsters (weapons-based) . If you recall from the early Mk's there wasn' that much martial arts involved- punches, kicks, uppercuts, all feasible for MM.

I think the allure of the game would be the finishing moves...
What animals were on noob.com?

Id rather see...

A guest star game, like soul calibur 2 did with link, spawn and that tekken guy.

Here is some guest stars I think would work and be fun tearing there head off.

Kratos (God of War)
Spawn
Riptor (Killer Instinct)
Sabrewulf (Killer Instinct)
Marilyn Manson (rock star)
Ken (Street Fighter)
B.Orchid (Killer Instinct)
Pagan (War Gods)
Chaos (Primal Rage)
Torque (The Suffering)
Nina Williams (Tekken)
Bruce Lee
Jet Lee
The Crow (Movie)
Ryu (Street Fighter)
Terminator (Movie)
Preditor (Movie)
Alien (Movie)
Venom (Marvel)
Carnage (Marvel)
Evil Spider-Man (Spider-Man 3 Movie)

I guess I could go on forever...lol. All Midway would have to do is calla round and see if they can purchase the rights to any of these characters to make a guest apperance in the game. And they ad a little story on how they got called into Mortal Kombat. And it wouldn't even interfier with the MK characters.

You guess might knock some of these but come on, there all better than ANY DC Comic Character. And I think almost anyone would agree that Any Killer Instinct character and Kratos from Gods of War would be badass. If anything, that should buy the rights for Kratos before someone else does like Soul Calibur.

Wow, way to prove yourself to be a foul-mouthed retard. Someone ban this poster child for abortion. And I don't thiink you want to go toe to toe with me, xtreemist. If there were 2 of you, you'd still be a half wit compared to me, and I'm being generous. Furthermore, of course the topic creator and anyone else who agrees with him, or likes his idea, is wrong because it conflicts with your pitiful little myopic view. I notice it says you're from the Bahamas. Tell me, how problematic is it to have waste control come dip you out of the water everytime you take a swim in the ocean? It's never happened to me, but I'm sure you've had much experience.

Well, I don't know. Remember in the earlier games they did use kicks and what have you. I think the MM's would look kind of awkward doing that. Freddy looked like a putz in Freddy vs Jason with all f the jumping around and kicking. It wasn't until near the end, when he was just straigh up slashing that I could take him seriously. I think the game could be done, seperate from MK, to be honest.

Apparently you people don't understand what kind of legal actions have to happen to make something like that.

Michael Myers is owned by Dimension
Freddy, Jason, Leatherface is owned by New Line

Each one of these properties has to go through many clearances...I mean MANY. It was probably a big enough head ache for them to get DC on board unless they got a sweet ass deal in the making. It'd never work, it'd fall apart like the Original Freddy vs Jason when Jason was still owned by Paramount.

I know that these characters are owned by different companies...New Line, Ironically the people who did the MK Movies owning the rights to Freddy, Jason AND Leatherface. I also know that Pinhead was considered to make a cameo in FVJ, and was supposed to take on Michael in the now defunct HELLOWEEN.

Almost nothing is impossible where money is concerned, unless Midway had a lack thereofand couldn't acquire many characters. But going to Newline, if the idea could pan out, would be the best solution considering the amount of MK appropriate characters.
