Oooh yes its true.
At first i was like DAMN how cool is this, a new Streetfighter and a new Mortal Kombat, the old scool war will return.
When i saw Streetfighter IV i was like man o man really good graphics with a old scool feel to it, but new enough for next gen and with nice new moves + combo's
Enter Mortal Kombat vs DC, eehm
Wel first of all the Mortalkombat fans dont want this game, they want Mortal Kombat 8.
It doesnt matter if it will have a great fight engine dope moves or even fatality's..
Because if i wanna kill Batman or Superman i buy there comic and light the shit on fire.
The problem with this game is, well it will have DC characters and frankly they suck.
It only took them what 15 years? to make a good Batman movie.

And yes Capcom did it to back in the day, but Capcom and Marvel Characters are alike, and these characters aint....
Capcom Characters dont kill people and dismember them, and Mortalkombat and DC? you do the math..

A lot of people are screaming yeah it looks dope blablabla.
It aint the question wheter if its dope or not, the question is why this aint MK8.
There gonna make the step to next gen with this? damn Ed i really think you change persona with Mr Ed...
I remember buying al the Gamemaster Magazines back in the day to see what new characters will be in and scetches and so on...
Im not a retro gamer, i like al kind of games, but what i dont like is the fact that you go over the fans back to make money.

The old scool war back in the day between Streetfighter and MK was a rush, most people here were baby's back then ghehe..
What could have been cool is now a fluke ;)
Because Streetfighter vs Mortalkombat is like a one legged man in a asskicking contest.
Streetfighter vs Mortalkombat is like when you have Christopher Reeve (the orginal Superman) judge a danscontest...

Well im glad capcom still make good games, and dont fuck Streetfighter up like you did with the Mortal Kombat Franchise because the last 3 games sucked.
Im gonna buy Street Fighter IV and not this shit...

To steal the line of the most electrifying man in sports entertaiment today..

You can take all the copies of Mortalkombat vs DC, stack them all up, shine them up real nice, turn that son of a bitch sideways and stick it straight up you're CANDY ASS...

Yeah, pretty much with me too. But I did get one of the games for SNES (and ended up selling it).

But I won't lie. I'm going to try out SFIV because if I get PS3 just for MK8 then it's a waste of money. May as well take a chance while I'm already committing suicide with trying out MK8...... well I take that back. I'm going to test MK8 at a friend's house before ever considering it.

So far SF4>MK/DC. But all we got is a choppy trailer so you cant judge MKvsDC just yet.

SF is cool but it's nothing more then a 3D cell shaded SF2 revamped, at least MK8 is something entirely new

I agree with you that MKvsDC is being judged to harshly but your contradicting your self by saying SF4 is nothing more then a "3D cell shaded SF2 revamped". SF4 isnt even 20% complete yet.

Have you guys seen the new characters for SFIV? they look like freakin jokes. The French dude with the blue karate outfit looks lame, the Mexican wrestler looks lame, the crimson chick is alright but I'm wondering how she'll come out. There was a recently revealed new character who is extremely obese and very lame looking. SFIV is really just new graphics over it's old gameplay + more combos. They even took out the parry system.

MK vs. DC is new, all new. I only hope for finishers.

I know it's not done, but just saying neither is MK8 lol.

But we know SF 4 will be a cell shaded, 3D crisp look and we've seen the gameplay. It's just like SF2 man, just looks a lot better and has newer characters.

I know there's more to SF4, you're right. My comment was just a witty counter comment to the hating on MK vs DC comments..glasses
