Monkey would fit nicely into MKD cause monkey always had run ins with dragon kings. etc.

And he is no normal monkey. He has human appearance with monkey features. Super abilities. he is a smartass talented fighter with a staff.

He could slip in MKD as a new good guy to kick the old Dragon Kings but.

so ur telling me, if you saw a big monkey face on the mk character select screen..you would choose it and have no problems...then when u played with it, it was a big hairy ape fighting sumone like sub-zero...hmmm...

But I studied the myth for sometime. He would be a perfect addition. Sure he has animal like face yet he does wear clothes. He has a golden head band and glowing red eyes. How does this sound worse that reptile.
