I think we'd all like to see sonya go bad for a while. Fact of the matter is, what was once a token chick fighter is no longer interesting.

Even if she went bad, it would be entirely too inconsistant, and pointless.

I agree that sonya has no reason to be arround, but perhaps that's why she's not confirmed yet?

Perhaps she did finally call everything off. Me personally, regardless of how many Sonya fans there are, is glad to see her gone. She was more agrevating than chicken squaks to most avail.

Sonya being bad would be a pretty good idea. It'd provide a welcome twist and change to her storyline as it has gotten pretty boring and repetitive. My own idea for her story was for her to become a vampire. These links will take you to the two parts.

I think Sonya going bad is a good idea, infact when people mention possible new directions for Sonya that seems to be the most popular. But for those who don't want her to turn evil keep in mind that with the OWIA destoryed, they can make Sonya leave the SF, (Maybe the SF branch of the Military dealing with the outworld threat, looses it's funding and the team members involved are all relieved of duty) And take her anywhere their imaginations can cook up...Perhaps we'll see her become a Paranormal Bounty hunter, or maybe a Merc, not really good or evil, she could just take jobs as they come in, perhaps after the disbanding of the SF, she has come not to care what happens because the Government doesn't seem to (after all they wouldn't have disbanded the SF if they did) so why should she care? Maybe she could use her skills to become a hired hitwoman and dress in Sexy Skin tight Leather, instead of the army digs. Or perhaps a Vampire like tgrant suggested - ( tgrant) The possibilities are really quite endless... Either Way I don't think MK will ever be done with Sonya and that's just the way I like it.

You know, this has been said on several occasions, and I must say that there are some similarities, but I HOPE NOT!! It would really suck if they wasted a perfectly good brand new character by making it an old character, even Sonya, in disguise. WOW... When you put that kind of a spin on it, that sounds like an awesome idea...Though I don't like the idea of the actual Sonya being dead...It is still very original and plays to the whole deception thing. Excellent idea.

I always wanted to see Sonya EVIL. Not cuase she chose to, but because some spell or something. It would kick ass! Good idea WRDLFE21.

Though it sounds like a cool twisted idea which I like a bit, it actually ruins the whole character. It would not work.

Sonya does need a change. I think having her abandon the special forces is a good idea, but I wouldn't go as far as to make her evil. Maybe have her go AWOL after the military gets corrupted. Have her then fight as a justififed renegade.

This is a good idea. Don't currupt Sonya, but the government she works for...give her no choice put to take things into ther own hands...Question though Don't you think that Jax, Cyrax, and Kenshi...or at least Jax anyway would leave with her? It would be better if he didn't and somewhere down the line they were forced to fight each other because Sonya has to stop Jax from carrying out orders blindly because maybe Jax refuses to see what Sonya is talking about and he continues to serve. This has fantastic potential as far as story goes. Very good job Temp. Probably one of the better ideas I've heard for Sonya, along with tgrant's Vamp idea.
