My Prediction: Nitara will be the next sub-boss.

lets look at the facts. out of all of the characters, Nitara's attacks cause the most damage after she powers up. (trust me, i've researched this. smile) it even seems to be a self-fulfilled destiny in other characters storylines. she uses Cyrax and Reptile as her puppets and if it weren't for her, Shao Kahn may still be alive. even in Raiden's ending it seems only apparent that she be the next sub-boss. she's standing right next to the Dragon King which only serves as poetic justice. she used Reptile to get what she wanted and now she has become his lackey. Raiden himself mentions that "even the vampire people pose a threat to peace." of course, this is all just speculation and i could be completely off base. but i've played enough MK games to get a general idea of how the development team thinks. mark my words, if i'm right then i will bump this topic to the front page to show you guys that i am truely a genious. tongue

I think your rong she will not be the sub boss or any of the boss characters she will be in the game no doubt aboud that but as another fighter and nothing more

No, Nitara will never be a boss. Quan Chi and Shang will be bosses and the expected Dragon King (my moneys on reptile) will be the last boss. Nitara just doesn't have it in her to be a boss or even da sub-boss

not to be rude or anything but Nitara was a crappy character, true she could do a lot of damages but all her moves were stupid and only Sheeva was looking worse for a female character.

Hey, I even prefer Sindel to Nitara for a sub-boss and I hate Sindel, that means a lot.

I just hope that we will never see Nitara ugly face again.

Nitara was an awesome character. Leopard-style and Tiger-fist martial forms, with twin kama, and she was a stinking VAMPIRE.

And hot.

I hope she's a LOCK for MK6 :)

I love Nitara. She is simply my favorite new character, and also the fave of the majority.

But no, I don’t think she should be a sub-boss. It’s just not right now, unless she suffers some brutal change to become like no, I just don’t think it would work.

But I would definitely like to see a female sub-boss. Perhaps a half human, half giant octopus woman like Ursula from Disney, with many tentacles.

Nitara is my favorite character. But I don’t think she should be a Sub-boss. It has to be someone very monstrous!

I like queve’s idea! An octopus female would kick ass! I would actually like to see a female sub-boss for once.

I hope Nitara dies and doesn't come back. She is stealing the spot light from other, better characters to come back like Smoke and Kabal.

I like both characters you mentioned, but Nitara is my fave no matter what. And like I've seen around, she seems to be the majority’s favorite new character.

Nitara is a good character but i dont think theyd make her the sub boss simply because we were already able to use him in mk5...

i think theyd make a new sub boss there, one which we could not, and have never used

Nitara is awsome character and one of my favs, but i dont see her as a subboss. it probly going to be another oni, not drahmin or moloch..a even more stronger oni. somewhere in the game they said there was three oni if im not mistaken, so the third oni for mk6 could be the subboss and nitara nowhere coming close of being a subboss for the next game.

My memory is a little fuzzy, but didn't Quan chi and drahmin, or moloch, or all three fall into a portal thingy and come out as one or something? Perhaps this fusion will become the new big boss?

Bleh ok, my memory isnt a little fuzzy, I've basically forgot everything lol.

na only Quan chi and drahmin fell in the chamber.but then drahmin came out differently so we'll wait and see on that.
i dont think Nitara will be a boss and the thing about shang and quan being bosses, i think MK is going to kill them off temporarily, tho i would like Liu Kang to come back

Reptile/Dragon King will be the final boss next game, but i dont think there will really be a sub boss, like DA, they were pretty much equal bosses, shang/quan (been a bit since i played so i dont remember who came first) werent really placed in order of difficulty in technicality, they were both bosses
oh i forgot that Moloch was the subboss of tht game, i personally think it would be cool to have Scorpion or Baraka as the sub boss but itll never happen

No offense but that would kind of suck if Scorpion or Baraka were sub-boss....
not really suck, but they just dont have it plus its traditional that some big oaf be the sub boss

Goro, Kintaro, (not sure for 3) Motaro, Moloch....

Interesting speculations....perhaps she might be a sub-boss in MK6. We'll just have to wait and see...wink

The idea of her being a sub-boss isn't a bad idea in my opinion.

Nitara as a sub-boss is the equivalent of Frankeinstein or an halloween pumpkin as a sub-boss.

They should not put her in and keep space for characters like Fujin, Kabal and Sareena.

Nitara is not sub-boss material. She's a pretty good regular character (one of my favorite new ones), but they should probably have a new Oni as the sub-boss.

And the fact that Nitara was standing next to the Dragon King in Raiden's ending doesn't mean she'll be working for him; she and her people are just another possible threat.

Sojaofcrst, you bring up many good points as to why she could be a sub-boss. Personally I hate the idea. But because of Raiden's, Cyrax's, and her own ending... I could see her being a big part of what will happen next in Mortal Kombat.

And believe me you people... this isn't the first time a MK5/MKONLINE member who's been here a long time has made a speculation like this. Some of them have even become true. I won't be surprised if Soja is some-what right.

Nitara will be in the next game because of the endings and all but i thought she'll be a boss. She doesnt seem strong enough, I hope Shao Kahn returns though, they never did show if he was killed or not. In the next game he might try to seek revenge on shang tsung and quan chi and take over again.

In MK:DA - Nitara was very deceptive
MK: Deception ...hhmmmm?

maybe next game will have her tryin' to get her vampire race all up in that $#!T 4 MK 7 ?
