I don't think it's really safe to assume that Jade (an anyone else in jail) isn't playable (at least not automatically). As I said in the official news thread, maybe that was a beta version of the prison stage, and perhaps the real game will different characters, or just random, generic people, in the prison cells.

As for Raiden, I think it's too early to say whether he's dead, or just a mortal now, or what. Form your own opinions if you want, but don't think any answer is official just yet.

I never assumed they wud be playable, i am just saying how the story can go....characters can still be apart of the story and not be playable...

Actually i called you people stupid for saying the people in the prison stage were playable. i thought they werent because of there low polygon count and they look like UMK3 grahpics.

BUt i realized that they needed low polgygons to make that stage because too many MK fighters would make the screen kinda lag a little. (yes i know this isnt a computer game, and wasnt referring to that)

i think they keep the graphics low for the prison stage but when unlocked they have their new looks.

my sources told me fujin was playable after FUJIN is seen on the main menu of the demo game. When asking Ed Boon about this question he just laughed. NOw we see jade in the mix. Yup those people are most likely playable. they will change jades face i am sure of it and tanya, since they all seem to look like lei mei's.

so i was right raidne died, sindel is good, and kitana is captured by the DK. was my source fake??? was i BSing, am i full of $#!%, no i am not, now i cant wait for the pictures of goros brother and liu kang. the DK army are zombie like in the MKDA pics of them and scorpion is a specter (or ghost) so i think lui kang in ghost form would be his MKDA look, and the zombie form would have his face looking like the DK army rotten faces with dirt on his chest and thats about it, i think they would look kinda the same, the zombie one might have him bald headed on one side and looking like the tales from the krypt guys hair, or maybe looking like shang tsung from MK1 in zombie form(who looks like the krypt keeper actually)

Anyway, I like ur ideas!! IT makes sense that maybe Mileena is impersonating kitana, Why else would she take over the armies instead of Sindel?
However, I dont think the jail part would work, because I am HOING the lady with tanned skin and green outfit is Jade, and not Tanya.
