I just bought Studio 11 to record fights directly into my computer through USB. The videos drop alot of frames and doesn't seem to record well. Any tips? What do you guys use? (those who actually go straight into the com)
I'm wondering if I just don't know what I'm doing....
My laptop has only 1400 megs left after the install. (I know thats really bad) I'm most likely just going to take it back unless someone can help.

So you got one of those external capturing devices. I had something like that and it wasn't that great; but the PC I had at the time was shit. Tell me what your specs of your PC are. That plays a major factor right there.

I use an ATI TV PRO A/V capture card. I use stoik capture as my capping software. I cap directly to avi; and use the divx 5.2.1 codec for compression. I use vitrualdub for editing avi files. Windows movie maker to put clips together.

Try out the stoik capturing program. It's completely free. I will be happy to help you out more with it; if you get stuck.
