OK, I was just thinking about the old technology used with the first 3 (or actually 4 including Ultimate) arcade Mortal Kombats, where they had to use images of actual actors for the characters instead of the 3D polygon characters they have now. Wouldn't it be cool if the made a new MK game using actors again? They could call it something like MK classic and throw it on one of the new portable systems or the playstation 1 (with much less load time of course)....
Or if they can't do that and they are going to take even more time to release a compilation disc, re-release a version of Trilogy that actually works on a PS2...

sounds interesting but itll never happen. i welcome the future instead of dreaming of the past. times have changed MK has changed. although i do feel that some things from Mks past would be nice and add to the expirence just not that.

I would like to see a classic MK game, but I would also like to see a cool 3d one. People aren't convinced enough because they probably started liking MK around the time MK4 came out, and they won't play any 2d games....

Ummm... There is a similar 2d version of Mk:Da out on GameBoy:Adv already! It's called Mk:Tournament Edition!!!!!!!

i had the same thoughts in my head about a mk game like this. maybe like a trilogy pt.2 or a game with all the most awesome characters from 1 till mk:da on it. they could make it and release it as a bonus disc with mk6. well let me shut up cause it'll never happen.

I think it is a great idea.
MKDA is not great quality graphics for the type of game it is. It is actualy out of date. But comparing the two is like comparing apples and computers--I mean oranges-- They are different artistic styles. MK1-MKT were awesome and doing a sequel to MKT would not mean they won't make MK6 but it would be very cool. MKT is of the most underrated MK games.

I thought characters looked a bit cartoony, with big heads and really small waists.... the first time I saw them I thought they looked dwarfy
